COMING TO A CURB @ TNT NEAR YOU

That would make for a cool coffee table base when one inevitably gets a crack in it and becomes a paperweight

So how much are the carbon wheels on the new mustang gt350r

Edit: $4000usd each front, $3500usd each rear.

GabAlmighty 08-18-2017 04:23 PM

That's actually not super ridiculous pricing wise... I believe a carbon rim for a road bike is around $1000 if I remember correctly. Now considering this is a much larger, more involved product, the price kinda makes sense.

Why bother, everyone's just gonna think it's a hydrodip anyways :troll:

yep
carbon wheels make no sense on the road with potholes...unless this is going on a track-only it's gonna to fail. Those millions of miles of in-lab testing are worthless in real-world if they're only simulating fatigue me assumes

dark0821 08-18-2017 11:30 PM

is that the same carbon loom that made the A pillars for the LFA? Remember in some documentary that there are only 3 in the world or smth??

More like 911 Turbo S makes no sense on the road... should keep it on a track where you can it actually be used.

Porsches are for bragging, not for driving around.

Berzerker 08-19-2017 09:27 AM

I just want to watch an entire wheel being woven. Mesmerizing.

Berz out.

If you want to show off Porsche is not the way to go.

reminds me of the LFA's manufacturing.

Have you seen how many Porsches are "collected" or purchased as "investments" these days?

I agree to a certain extent but there are some manufacturers that are even worse for that. If you compare the amount of high mileage Porsches to Ferraris, then it becomes more evident.

30k miles 355 = high mileage
30k miles 993TT = low mileage
