I'll likely order and get the phone. I'm using the S7 Edge and sick/tired of it due to the smaller size (I have big hands). I was using Note 4 before and the phone just crapped out and died before I picked up the S7 Edge.
Apparently Samsung USA is giving a discount up to $425 for customers who bought a note 7 last year, when trading in a device. Might be worth looking into if you had a note 7 last year.
Edit: Canada is doing a similar thing, but hasn't been officially announced what kind of discount it is.
The S8+ 6gb goes around $800cad in Asia, if you don't mind shipping it across the Pacific.

So, up to $425 including the device you are using? lol
I am guessing $425 only if you trade in a iPhone 7s Plus 128gb
Damn too ballin. Factor in taxes and getting warranty shit will run you like close to $1600. I'm still rocking the Note 5 which at this point in time is still the newest Note and just got a new battery and phone is still working like a champ.

I see they put a lot of effort into the s-pen but honestly from a casual user I don't see I will use the pen much. Sure it have a lot of features but is not something I will use on a daily basis. Is nice to have but not a deal breaker but that price is a real deal breaker.
Maybe is just me but I like smaller phones (Iphone7, Sony mini series, One plusX). Smaller phones I can fit in my pocket and still able to walk confortably I can operate the phone with one hand easily.
Honestly speaking a cell phone these days can last a good 4+ years. Unless you are the top 5% who needs the newest to show off, you don't really need to switch your phone every year or even every other year.
Yeah I didn't get any notifications as well. I ordered that first day it was announced. It was nice to have it before release day tomorrow. I assumed it would be shipped out Sept 15. I think shipments are already out for pre orders so just check daily with the mail.

Samsung and their shit service. I contacted them and they said all orders will have shipping notice sent to customers for them to track their packages lol.
