Recaro dealers in Vancouver? Hey, First post but I know this forum gets lots of traffic so I thought I would post. Does anyone know if there are any shops that can get or have new Recaro seats? I want to get 2 Sportster CS seats but doing some google searching I can't seem to find anything local. I figure there is a pretty big car scene her in the LML there has to be someone who sells Recaro. Any info greatly appreciated. Cheers |
Frank at Driver's Edge Autosport can order them, but nobody in town to the best of my knowledge stocks virtually anything Recaro. -Mark |
You'd have to call around to each shop and see what they have in stock. Some shops carry a set or two but most likely common ones like the SPG(I think). Like Mark said, there are many places to order them but stock on-hand is rare due to cost and the vast selection. |
Garage Five can get them, but will be ordered in. They are not stocked items. |
The showroom at pacific raceways had a sportster cs in it to sit in. Probably the nicest seat I have sat in. Perfect for an average sized guy. 5'9, 175lbs. |
i wish there is somewhere i can sit and try out all the various aftermarket bucket seats =\ |
SEMA is probably the closest time/place unfortunately. |
Overseas auto was a dealer at some point in the past. They sold seats there. I was able to order a bunch of misc parts to fix a couple SRC and SRD seats. This was maybe 5-6 years ago. The orders did take a long time to arrive. |

if possible....over night parts from japan. |
You can try doing to a Nissan dealership that has the new 370Z nismo It has nice recaro seats, the dealer should be willing to let you sit in it. And as mentioned some people might let you try the seats out at the Revscene summer meet. From my experience, almost all recaro seats are amazing. I think Overseas Auto (if they are still around) can get you seats as well but as mentioned its something that no one has in stock, they have to be ordered in and i'm pretty sure most performance shops can do that for you. |
overseas auto is an RS sponsor. doing a search shows this thread from 2010 but i'm not sure they still sell them because canada isn't even an option on the store locator on recaro's website: https://www.revscene.net/forums/6207...-mainland.html |

I see lots of sparcos but no recaros :okay: |
agreed that it sucks you can't try big but niche items like this...put in a special order and don't end up liking it...now you feel a bit pressured into buying as it'll sit on the boutique stores' limited floor space if you don't. |
We have some seats in stock. Mostly singles. We have a couple Recaros |
There you go, check out Overseas Auto. I recommend Recaro Sport, Sportster or Style. Personally I prefer the sport with every option. But it's all up to you and what you like. You can't go wrong with Recaros. They are amazing! |
I have a pair of USDM Black Recaro SRDs that I bought 10+ years ago. Barely driven (~under 10k kms). Just collecting dust wrapped in bags. Price check on those guys? That being said I love my jdm Recaro SR6s, those are really comfortable on my Supra |
How much do you want for the SRDs? I've been looking for a set to refinish. |
Sorry haven't been on. They are actually in excellent condition, no scuffs/rips/defects. They're just old. Looking for 950cad for the pair with rails for a 5th gen prelude. |
