| In Beijing, Google is blocked, I'm fucked.
So I've arrived in Beijing, and now I'm stuck at the airport because the great firewall has blocked Google and I have no idea how to get around. My VPN app on my phone isn't working, that's probably blocked as well.
Anyone got tips on how to get around this city?

Google is a transportation company now?
Taxi, Subway, Bike, Walk. Go to the airport help desk and get a map. You know, how we used to do things. ffs

Ill probably end up taking a taxi around. | It's not easy to get lost in Beijing. Just take the Subway from the airport. Traffic is atrocious and you'll waste a ton of time on the road. I'm assuming you only have a few days or hours and need to get to the Forbidden City?
Take the Airport line to the Dark Blue circle line (Line 2) and then take it any direction (but it's faster counter clockwise). Get off at Qianmen station. Then walk north towards the big square (Tiananmen Square). Can't miss it. There's a big picture of this guy if you get lost:

Their subway system might look complicated at first. But is dead serious easy. Just make sure you push push push in.
