Worst/Most Annoying Songs Thread
Heard it being played at Shoppers Drug Mart the other day and it made me cringe. Born in the USA by Bruce Springsteen. It's more screaming than singing and how many fucking times does he say "Born in the USA," in that song?
While I'm at it, worst instrumental solo in a song award, goes to.......... Echo Beach. Fuck, that sax solo sounds like it was performed by an elementary band kid.

Dirty look from MG1 can melt steel beams.
"There must be dissonance before resolution - MG1" a musical reference.
Thank you! I hate that song. I also despise "summer of '69". Or any 1980's power anthem like "jump" or that song they sang on family guy "just a small town girl living in a lonely world". All these kids born in 1996 act all nostalgic for the 80's. Get fucked
wake me up avicii
something like this coldplay + chainsmokers
when i met you in the summer calvin harris
so basically almost every EDM song that gets airtime
and
chipmunk song...actually the entire 103.5 radio station during the month of December

was in diapers in the 80s but some days i'll loop Africa, Losing My Religion or In the Air Tonight
i think the millennials like that kinda stuff because they watch shows like Glee, The Americans, Stranger Things etc.
A personal dislike is This House is Not For Sale. Didn't like Million Reasons either(or really, most of Lady Gaga's songs, except for The Cure, that was okay).

It was fine when it first came out; I honestly kinda liked it, but it is so overplayed and overrated now. I turn my radio to another station when I hear it now. Yes, it makes my ears bleed nowadays.

This song is Ear Cancer. It takes literally fucking no skill to "sing" this song.
Day ruined.
I thought it was okay, not good, but not really that terrible.
This is all thanks to one of my female friends who took me and another friend to a karaoke and sang Taylor Swift songs the whole time(she is a big fan), so I can tolerate some of her songs now.

Basically most music mid-2000 onwards. I grew up listening to 103.5 and they used to play a huge blend of pop and soft rock of current (at that time) going back to the 80s, which i do like, and so basically if something came on I didn't really like, it would be pretty easy to zone out and ignore that song lol. Then Adele came along and became such a hit, initially i liked her music and soon that became a strong dislike because it would be broadcast, like, 24/7. I can't stand her voice anymore.
fast forward a few years, i started working at Canadian Tire, my coworkers would ONLY listen to 104.9 or 102.7 all day everyday same ten current release songs on repeat all day (Drake and his fucking cellphone song, for example)
I mean, it's not the reason that I left that job lmao, but i'm so glad i dont have to deal with that shit anymore.
I can't stand (pretty much) all of the new releases that they put out today, just everywhere you go, you hear everything overplayed, same shit, no variety.
The worst part is the radio stations claimed that they play what the listeners want to hear, but i guess we're surrounded by a bunch of dum-dums who like to listen to the same few obnoxious songs, with no good lyrics or melodies, all day on repeat
Having spent six months at a workplace that played Rock 101 and ONLY Rock 101 with the odd day of The Fox, I've been turned off of a majority of 80's hard rock music because I've listened to the same eight songs all day. There's a few iconic songs I can appreciate like Roundabout by Yes, or Money for Nothing, but Guns and Roses, Ozzy Osbourne, and any classic rock band with a high-pitched voice lead singer is now complete dogshit to me when it was tolerable before.
