I have 3m... I can use a polish , but not wax. I was pretty happy with mine...they did all the plastic trims , Honda emblem , lights , fogs, mirrors , trunk... most general places , the edges are wrapped, if I look closely near the fenders and scoop, I can see the line
Overall , happy with 3m in Victoria. If you guys are in Victoria ... pm me and I’ll let u know where I did it
You definitely want the clear bra on first as it needs a clean surface to seal too. With the extra slickness from the coating/sealant/wax you put under will affect the longevity of it sticking under various weather conditions. Clear bra basically takes the place of the "paint" and you want to protect that with your coatings and stuff.
Larry at AMMONYC/Phil at Detailersdomain and many others will say the same.
