Not quite slim, but I've switched to a lower profile leather billfold made from the recycled leather of a BMW 740iL. You put your ass on it, so you know it's going to hold up well. The same company also does Air Canada and Alaska Air recycled material along with other cars. Rarer leathers like ones from the 993 cost more.

Top slots are quick access to cards, and the workmanship is nice. It does help that the leather is old as it isn't stiff like a new one and folds easily. The bill pocket has plenty of room, which I prefer to most actual slim wallets since I'm not a fan of not having a dedicated space for cash.

The fun part of it is that the VIN of the car it came from is stamped into the material.

Received my Fantom wallet last week. Not a fan of it. After spending over a hundred bucks for it, it's just going to gather dust. Anyway, went to Walrus on Cambie Street and bought me a Secrid wallet. Nice red one (Bordeaux).

https://www.secrid.com/en/product/id...tage-chocolate

Got home and loaded it and decided that it wasn't enough. The next day, I exchanged it for a twin version. I am so happy with it.

^Don't get me started with the Fantom wallet...

Took them 3 seperate times to finally get a perfectly "working one". First time, screw wasn't machined in. Second time, missing screw. Finally got a working wallet, but it's stiff like a dick even using it for 2+ weeks, damaging the corner of my cards due to force to get it in.

Yup, noticed the difficulty in getting the cards in. So, it's normal for it to be that tight? Useless to me, then. I guess I'll try to sell it on-line. The Secrid wallet is so much nicer. I should have done more research. Oh well, shit happens.

I read some people said it took them a few weeks to "wear in" the wallet and it becomes smoother, but by then the corner of the card is already messed up, of course it'll be easier.

I even tried taking some sand paper to shave down the inner part a bit, kinda helped, but still...I might be looking at new wallet too.

I just use a cheap Herschel Raven. 40 bucks. Low profile. Leather, Classy copper money clip. Don't even use the money clip ever because i dont carry cash. Works great. All cards still works after many years.

Same as what I am using. I use the money clip. Only drawback is all my bills when are folded like mad when I use them.

This wallet I've owned for 2+ years now and I absolutely love it. It's easy to fan your cards, it's slim enough that I barely feel it in my back pocket. Also you can get customized Ti clips to go with it.

What the hell is someone doing with a money clip that it needs to be made from Titanium or carbon fiber?

I've been using the Essentials wallet for a few years now and it has held up great. I don't carry more than 4 cards and some bills as to not stretch it out. They were based in Vancouver but the fellow relocated back to Australia. I found them on KS but ordered directly from the website.

www.raphaelqualitygoods.com

The Tanner Goods version is one of the same quality but I didn't like the stitching running all the way up to the opening I felt like the thread could get chewed up at some point.

I've been using this for almost a year.

https://www.slimfoldwallet.com/produ...nal-soft-shell

I purchased the micro soft shell at first and it was great, except it wasn't big enough, so I went with the original soft shell. It's perfect for my needs.

That looks awesome!

How much was it after shipping, conversion and taxes in Canadian dollars?

Wallet was $65AUD, $5AUD shipping, just over $72CAD after conversion. No additional charges on delivery.

Looks similar to my Bellroy Card Sleeve.

https://bellroy.com

I also carry with me the Secrid Twin Wallet.

https://secrid.com/en/collection/twi...d:601646366762

I purchased both Bellroy and Secrid from Walrus on Cambie.

I'm starting to slowly go digital. Starbucks, Lee Valley, and McDonalds are now on phone. Gift cards are killing me, so they're going digital, as well.

Damn casino cards, lol.

If network is down, nothing is going to work. Unless shop owner has one of these.

Being a typical older asian, I also have cash with me.
