Edit: voting closed, we took the W!
The photo doesn't do the lights justice, so I've made a quick video

Mannheim Steamroller - Neo Classical / New Age music. My favourite albums by them are Fresh Aire I, II, and III. Classical Gas is another favourite. The cuts on that album are amazing. Very dynamic music/recordings. My favourite track is Vancouver Is Land. Not for everybody, but listen to the track samples on iTunes. Anyway.
Great video and all, but I couldn't help but to notice how everyone had perfect hair, skin complexion, scarless hands, etc. Don't think anyone in the video grew up in poverty or had to work with their hands............. well, maybe the cellist ........... lol. Still, the message is nice.
god bless

It's that time of year again. Sirius XM christmas stations are all up and running. Some have been on all year long, lol. I've been listening to the Mannheim Steamroller Channel and they've gone all Xmas, too. New Age Music, ftmfw! Weird, but wAnderful.
Soon local radio station, Move FM, will become an all christmas music station. Such a happy time of year...............
BTW, I don't put christ in christmas...................... god bless.

you, my son, are confusing this thread with another one that has to start on December 1st.
Anyway..............
Bryan Adams Song.
Spoiler!
We waited all through the year
For the day to appear
When we could be together in harmony
You know the time will come
Peace on earth for everyone
And we can live forever
In a world where we are free
Let it shine for you and me
There's something about Christmas time
Something about Christmas time
That makes you wish it was Christmas everyday
To see the joy in the children's eyes
The way that the old folks smile
Says that Christmas will never go away
We're all as one tonight
It makes no difference if you're black or white
'Cause we can sing together in harmony
I know it's not too late
The world would be a better place
If we can keep the spirit
More than one day in the year
Send a message loud and clear
There's something about Christmas time
Something about Christmas time
That makes you wish it was Christmas everyday
To see the joy in the children's eyes
The way that the old folks smile
Says that Christmas will never go away
It's the time of year, everyone's together
We'll celebrate here on Christmas day
When the ones you love are there
You can feel the magic in the air
You know it's everywhere
There's something about Christmas time
Something about Christmastime
Something about Christmas time
Something about Christmas time
Makes you wish it was Christmas every day
To see the joy in the children's eyes
The way that the old folks smile
Says that Christmas will never go away
There's something about Christmas time
Something about Christmas time
Makes you wish it was Christmas every day
To see the joy in the children's eyes
The way that the old folks smile
Says that Christmas will never go away
Please tell me Christmas would never go away

That's your house? In Vancouver? Tuned to music? Where is it? My son loves Christmas lights!
That is my house, but we are in Okanagan Falls outside of Penticton.
Just shy of 5500 pixels, each individually pushed into a plastic prop and then programmed to do what you see in the videos. Started the project in March and literally just finished the lights this evening. Hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of hours into the display.
Cool end product, but glad I'm done for this Christmas season!
There's a Japanese Maple tree in the middle that won't drop its leaves this season...seriously might cut it down this weekend as I have too much time/money invested to have it all hide behind the stupid thing.

If the Maple is large and in good shape, someone will pay to have it dug up and transported. Those things aren't cheap to buy. Hell, you can replant it in the back yard. Such a waste to kill such a beautiful tree. If it were an oak tree or a pine tree, by all means kill it - who cares.
Just my two bits...................

Just a little too far, too bad cause I would love to see it in person.
