Finally got most of the winter upgrades (supercharger & ECU) done. I picked up the car from Indy and drove straight south to join some friends and attend Toyotafest in Long Beach, California. The car performed great, and as usual, enjoyed some miscellaneous side roads & canyons.

Not quite. The foST/fiST have a tonne of brake controlled torque vectoring” which the foRS doesn’t do since it’s awd. But this track day I had Michelin PSS on instead of the no-name Chinese all seasons. Corner speed was much higher and all the extra energy just moved into the brakes. The session before I went off the brakes were pouring smoke. Should have just called it then :p

Yeah man that was a lot of fun. I’d love to see the RS vs R battle again with a better driver than myself behind the wheel.

Minimizing maintenance hell is the main reason why I decided to buy new than buy used. I’m planning on keeping the car too so I got the extended warranty for it too.

Wheels are the ones that come with the competition package. They look exactly like the M4 GTS wheels except the M4 GTS wheels have orange coloured accents in them.

I’m not on Facebook so maybe you can help me out a bit... the BMW meet you are referring to on Sunday... where and when? I assume this is separate from the C&C meet at top of Mount Seymour?
