I guess this is my latest whip

Untitled by GhstRidr, on Flickr

it's trashed though - guy told me he planned to fix it but nobody is putting this thing back together. I bought it for the brakes, rear suspension, full manual trans swap. There's some desirable M goodies too.

Deciding whether to keep the S52 - it should cover the cost of the whole car leaving me the goodies, but I'm also tempted to hang onto it. 63k kms. We're going to try to turn it over tomorrow and see what we see.

not yet - turned it over by hand though. Still has it's oil in it which looks very clean.

cooling system is crunched and gone.

Thanks for the heads up. I re uploaded it using a different image hoster. Hopefully it works this time!

EDIT: Took her out for a drive today. Been 3 years since I last drove stick so I am still getting familiar with the car. Also did a mini photoshoot in my garage...

I think The CTR is the first time in history I've seen people choose to Mod to a smaller wheel size then stock. How times have changed.

^ The one sticking point for me with the CTR is that 20's are pretty big for a car like it. That and tire options are an arm and a leg for anything good.

Yeah most CTR’s are dropping from 20’s to 18’s, most the RS guys are going from 19’s to 18’s and sometimes even 17’s for autox. These big wheels are heavy, poor ride quality, poor tire selection and are expensive to replace

@ The Ridge yesterday with TSS x Revscene

If you were at the same track day yesterday I might have snapped a pic of your car if you ran during the morning sessions.

Pacific Marine Route is one of my favourite roads. In the early morning it is about 3.5 hrs Victoria to Duncan with a couple brief stops.
