Problem is the older wheels won’t clear the calipers. I’ll need a Motorsport inspired wheel to fit (team dynamics, enkei, motegi etc). Same issue with Subaru guys who run the 4/2 calipers, not all 15’s fit
latest pic of my whips - rarely parked next to each other, or even outside for that matter. both windshields smashed - along with 12 more of my neighbors last night
hopefully the cops can spare a member of the VI squad to do some investigating.

Looks awesome - Love the color! Is that stock ride height? Cause it looks like smt cops would give you trouble about.

still waiting for the SW after action report on the BAT experience. I don't think I'm alone in wondering how the whole process went.
What, apart from completely losing my shirt?
Beyond disappointed with the auction result. It is ultimately my fault for agreeing to such a low reserve but I was getting reassurances from BaT it'd do better etcetc.
However, I do blame BaT for saturating the fuck out of the E30 (and same with those Phoenix Yellow ITRs a few months back). I was repeatedly told they would stagger similar cars so they wouldn't compete with one another as I had asked multiple times. Lo and behold, a day after mine went live, TWO 325is' are posted. Their response was that they're for different demographics - one being swapped and caged, the other being much lower quality than mine even though it was no reserve. The ratty track car sold for MORE than mine while the Bronzit sells for within 2k. What a slap in the face.
End of the day, I would not sell a car on BaT again, absolutely no way. The reserves they make you agree to prior to listing, especially if you've a Canadian car, as well as the sheer amount of volume they toss up daily because let's be frank, they don't give a fuck if your car sells for top dollar, so long as it sells and they can make their 5%.
I left 5k on the table when I could've sold it locally myself at a time when I really couldn't afford to take that 5k haircut - horrible feeling.
My lessons here are:
- NEVER agree to a reserve you're not comfortable with
- ALWAYS try to sell a car on your own prior to listing on there
Buyer flies in Saturday. If I see this thing on AutoTrader for 20k next week... Never again.

I declined listing my 01 ITR on BaT due to the exceptionally low reserve they specified.
Lately BaT sales premiums have fizzled, you sir, are a victim of bad timing.

super bummed SW - I think we were all surprised by how little it went for.
As much as the cards were stacked against you I think the Canadian factor is the most significant. Canadian buyers should sell their cars to a willing US partner who for a small cut would be selling an already imported car.
Considering all the stories of buyers on BaT bailing and not actually paying I wouldn't be surprised if there's a way for the seller to back out as well.
BaT used to be neat, and it's a great concept, but it seems to be run by businessmen like every other auction now.

Easily. BaT is merely the venue; auction ends, they send the two parties each others' contact info and collect their 5%. Neither party is obligated legally nor contractually to follow through whatsoever.
I could simply tell the buyer to stuff it - he'll get a refund from BAT for the buyer's fees anyways. But it isn't how I roll so I'll take my lumps and move on.
Last week there was a 74 BMW 2002tii that also sold for the ridiculously low reserve - seller backed out.

Anyone who agrees to the reserve, ends up disappointed, and backs out is a piece of shit, plain and simple. We’ve all taken some financial lumps in our time.
