Yup. But the self driving car won't be able to go faster than the speed limit. It will have to follow all the rules of the motor act. No more speeding tickets and driver penalty point, so police force and icbc will lose a big chunk of revenue lol.

So what happens if you get in an accident when both vehicles are self driving?

Owner fault?

Manufacturer fault?

Not possible unless there is a system malfunction and the on board computer would record that.
