Comment on Motul 300V 5W40 into VW 2.0T engine? Anyone using Motul 300V 5W40 into VW 2.0T engine?? Is it good? I am not use on racing. Mostly a normal city driving and sometimes drive to Seattle, WA. |
I don't believe 300V is good for daily driving as it lacks some additives that would benefit long term oil changes (300V you're essentially changing it out almost every track day). I believe any good synthetic oil should be fine for daily (I use Pennzoil ultra plat) but hopefully others can chime in. |
Agree on the fact that 300V is for racing use mainly. Would look at the X-Cess 8100 if you're stuck on using Motul but there's much cheaper alternatives available that are just as good. |
