Anyone know of a road that's consistently bad for a Km? Near Metrotown?

I want to test some sound deadening. And I want to see if what I'm doing is having a good effect.

I think the right thing to do is to test it on the same road, same speed, during a quiet time of the day.

What's best would be a road that is consistently bad, not just a pot-hole-y one.

A good example is the I-5 just south of Blaine. Concrete. Very noisy to drive over and consistently rough for some distance. Of course, that's too far.

I want it near Metrotown. The #1 Hwy used to be bad but now it's paved over smooth. In fact, I can't think of ANY road that's bad in Burnaby. Imagine that: a city hall is doing a good job!

Elliot street. It's a piece of shit. Go from the top at 54th and down to marine drive.

Imperial is also a piece of shit from boundary to Kingsway. Tons of potholes.

Third Street in New Westminster is probably the worst KM of road you will find in the Lower Mainland.

Crystal Mall Parkade. If your sound deadening can eliminate all the tire screeching, you've got yourself a winner.

I don't think his sound deadening is meant to block out such sound frequencies, plus the amount of echo in a parking lot like Crystal Mall's.

I think this might be what I'm looking for (if memory serves). Thanks.

To the other responders, I wasn't looking for super rough or pot-holed roads, just something with consistently rough roads that will cause tires to "roar".

I'm thinking of a dynamat type substance with 3M thinsulate on top to insulate a van.

It probably won't be worth the effort to remove if back-to-back testing shows that it's ineffective, but I did want to get a sense of the improvement.

Might use a sound meter app on my phone to get hard numbers.
