Windows Tinting Service -> Need recommendations Hey guys, anyone done it recently and could recommend a location for me to go? I saw a thread a while go and had my bmw tinted by the guys close to Kingsway & Knight/Fraser which was recommended. I didn't think they actually did a good job on it so I would like to try a different place this time for my new car. TIA! |

If you are ever in richmond go to Yau Bong Auto Glass Ltd on cambie, I have been a customer for years and they do quality work for a great price, plus the skytrain is close by and aberdeen mall is across the street. |

I used rq tinting. Good and perfect job. Laser cutting machine https://www.rqtinting.com Before I used to use ph solar, but after some not perfect cuts and impurities between the glass. I decided to change |

Ty at tyco tint, has done every car I’ve owned and always does an amazing job. His number is 604-808-5280. He comes to you and is priced very fair. |

+1 for yau bong they tinted my front windows, cut line is almost non existent, customer service was great from the older asian couple working, They pealed my old front window for $20 both sides which i found supprisinly cheap compared previous experiences. Also managed to squeeze me in same day for a great price ( cash negotiable) As for N-motion that tinted my rears: to be very honest customer service was good but the quality of the tint job was very poor some minor dirt specs and bubbling that has yet to disappear, corners cut when it came to trimming. For pricing ended up paying double the price of my intial quote dude to them having to peel the old tint which eneded up 350 out the door for rears pealed and retinted. To sum up my experience with n-motion i wouldn’t recommend them just due to my past experience. but if u do want warranty they do offer it and will fix anything wrong. Dont get me wrong I have heard and seen from reviews they do good jobs i guess mine just wasnt one of them. |
Poor quality at n-motion from my previous experience with tint |

Would not recommend N-Motion. Very poor workmanship. They burned my b pillar door trim with a heat gun and didn't bother to mention it to me. Had them replace that. Three of 5 windows had to be redone. |
Just to update this, I rolled up to Yao bong today and some Chinese guys said they closed down. Not sure if they still exist, so need to find another place to tint |
didnt enjoy my experience with diplomat window tint in pitt meadows. they tried to quote me higher, almost double, once i arrived in person... apparently hes never seen an e46 coupe before... said my 2 vent windows on the e46 count as seperate doors... meaning double the price because the window was "large"? and also quoted the 2 front doors higher in person because of also "larger" windows... ended up going to a private guy through a referral. an honest guy who does honest work. PM me for a good dude based in port coquitlam. |

Went by today and the guy inside told me it's no longer a tinting place. I prefer to have it done in richmond or anywhere close to the skytrain. Else i might just go rqtinting as it is close to willowbrook so i can kill time there while waiting. God dam it Yao bong why u do dis |
^^ let us know where you go and how it went, I'm still looking for a place to get this done |
Street legal in Port Moody is less than 5 min walk to sky train |

Just for an update, I have booked street legal @ marine dr location on Thursday since I'll be dropping it off and skytrain to YVR for flight. Will report back on the quality, guy i spoke is Nixon seem like a good guy. He said he trained both guys in Surrey and all 3 locations (port moody) are the same. |

Nixon was really fast (I walked from there to Marine Gateway to chill for a bit and walked back, around 3 hours total) |
