| carbon fiber lip repair?
Can anyone recommend someone in town who can repair a broken carbon lip?

i'm no material scientist but there' s probably a good reason why that service doesn't exist-- fibers don't just reattach
buy a new one
tip: don't buy a new one for a road car

Ok found a place Vancity platers custom car/bike shop in coquitlam can do it, but would like to get some more quotes.

CF is one piece, if it is 2x2 twill, then repair will lose the pattern by having another piece of CF on top. Unless the lip will be painted, otherwise it will look ghetto.

Hey Asian_XL I think they do a complete overlay of carbon again. Its similar with all the "cf" pieces that are mass marketed, fiberglass underneath and then a couple of layers of carbon to achieve the look...
