and aren't quite a few doing runs for charity? it's like anytime there's an event involving high-end sports cars this website dismisses it as a circle-jerk for the wealthy

Well, if your $700 entry is getting you a cocktail party and coupons of $250+ Makes me wonder what % actually ends up being donated.

Most car things I go to just have a food bank donation thing set up

Considered going, but my 20 year old 7 series doesn't qualify, even though there's maybe four or five of them around here.

Might check it out though.

Offer your services as a photographer shuttle. Peeps always want rolling shots, and I couldn’t imagine a more comfortable way to do it lol

You should. Tons of people do it. It basically a public event for 2/3 of it. So you can basically go for the photo op without paying. You can just drive with the pact without paying also. There's like 200+ cars, and everyone drives at a different pace. The group gets broken up regardless because the cops only shut down the streets for the beginning. Once all the cars are gone, you're on your own.

Yes people can see these types of cars in Vancouver but at no time will you see 200+ of them at the same place during normal days. That is what makes it cool IMO

^ good call. In that case, might take the 911 out that day for a shakedown run before the TSS Ridge track day the weekend after
