| Coilover damper adjusting knobs are missing?
how do I adjust the damper if the knob is missing? I tried to turn with a hexagon tool, but the whole cap moves. Any idea?
Both my BC racing and TEIN have the knobs missing |

Allen wrenches (aka hex tools) will not fit, hence why it is not working. Unfortunately, you will need the tool. Hopefully, I am wrong about this.
Some good tips from Tein regarding your situation. Quick Click Fixes - TEIN USA Blog

Like Bender_Unit said, check if they're inverted dampers with the adjustment at the bottom. If not you can purchase replacement knobs from BC Racing, I would assume Tein sells them as well. On BC's I believe the hex is for holding the shaft while removing the nut and not linked to the adjustment mechanism.
edit: they're only ~$10 each, looking at some pictures the end looks to be a really tiny hex, much smaller than the one at the end of the shaft that turns the whole thing.

I am hoping if I can skip the ordering and adjust the damper with some simple tools. The knob on google image is just an allen wrench to me

The knob on google image is just an allen wrench to me | It IS just a very small hex that fits into the top. It is likely very hard finding an allen key that size. If so, maybe you can try finding a roberston screwdriver that fits ? IIRC, it doesn’t take very much torque to adjust.
