***RS Price at $2500***
1997 Buick Regal GS. Car has just under 145,000 KM. Local car with a clean title. I'm the third owner. This is the supercharged version with 4spd automatic and performance shift (sport) mode. 240hp & 280lb ft torque. These are the factory posted numbers but actual numbers are most likely higher.
0-60 in 6.5 sec. 1/4 mile in 14.9 (For reference)
I was restoring this car as I daily drove it for the last 3 years. Never let me down. Here's a breakdown of the pros and cons.
Pros:
New steering rack
New oil pressure switch
New control arms and bushings
New Lower Intake Manifold gaskets
New supercharger gasket
New thermostat gasket
New idler pulley
New fuel injectors
New water pump
New rad hoses
New supercharger belt
New alternator belt
New plugs and wires
New AC system (Compressor, O rings etc.)
New rotors & pads x 4
New aftermarket 17" wheels x 4 General G-MAX high performance tires (I still have the stock 16s that will go with the car)
Interior was shampooed
Cons:
Slight rust on the passenger fender and driver's side rocker
Needs front passenger window motor (window currently does not go down)
Slight seepage from oil pan (will need an oil pan gasket)
Will need struts eventually
Even though the interior was deep cleaned, there can be a hint of smoker smell (previous owner was a smoker)
Scrapes and scratches consistent with a 21 year old car
Reason for selling is I want a V8 car. Also, I already own a second Regal GS for street & show. I don't need two anymore. I've done a lot of work to this car and hope the next owner will appreciate these cars for they are worth. It's an underrated sleeper that's getting rarer to see on the road. Good thing is these cars (even in supercharged form) were made in high volumes so plenty of inexpensive parts still available for them.
Please note this car requires PREMIUM fuel.
Thanks for looking.
