:fuckthatshit:

rav4 is a decent start but why not bring it to the corolla hatch, tacoma etc.

and i know they build 'em just fine...LC500h

They do, just not in North America. Literally almost every model in Toyota’s (and a lot of other manufacturers) lineup in Japan has a hybrid trim, from the Vitz to the Alphard.

doesn't every lexus besides the land cruiser have hybrid?

it's like Toyota North America wants you to either make the most econobox statement or step up $45k+ to get it...almost no middle ground

if they put it in the corolla hatch they would have a clear winner over civic/mazda3 (apparently available in EU)

EU and Japan have the Corolla Hatch Hybrid (EU also gets a long roof wagon version). Hell, the Japanese version is maybe a $3k price difference over the same trim we get with the engine options here. The non-hybrid version there is a 1.2L.
