Being Chinese and I think a lot of people can relate to this but it drives me fucking crazy when I hear an ederly person a.k.a my dad or otherwise talk about a restaurant and the first thing they say is not if it's taste good or bad but that it's very "di sit" a.k.a bargain or good deal followed up with that the portions are large. Then I just shake my head and ask but is it actually good and not good for the price but actually good. Sigh maybe I'll be like that 20 years from now and my son will look at me like wtf | I'm guilty of charge.
But honestly, when someone tells you something taste good, what does that mean? Taste, like looks, are subjective. It's all personally opinion. All the BBH I listed taste good, so yeah, I don't know if that helps.

I'm not a pho expert, but that list of restaurants is quite sad.

Went to An Pho in surrey today.
I ordered the BBH, gf ordered regular pho and i added sprang rolls and 1 more lemon grass chicken on rice.
The BBH soup was really good. Their broth has a distinct taste to it that makes it different than other places. Too bad the beef slices were way too lean. Could be a lot more fatty... and lemon grass chicken was average
Overall BBH rating : 8.2/10 (could be a strong 8.6/10 if it had better beef)

Good review
The beef has to be fatty though. And the tripe should be cut smaller. I hate picking up a piece of tripe and it turns out to the whole stomach |

Can confirm most of the street pho carts in Ho Chi Min I saw had bowls of quail eggs as a topping option.

Adding to the list though.
My Chau on kingsway I would recommend. 8/10. Spicy, lots of vermicelli and lots of meat for $9.25.

8.8/10
This time when i went it was much better. More meat and the soup was delish. I sweated like a fat fuck too while eating. Portion size could be more!
