Things can exist in tandem, automation will play a part in declining populations, and then some most likely, but countries need ppl to tax
I guess time will tell.
My personal belief is that the population growth requirement is a fallacy, promulgated by those who stand to profit most by it. Which are not the general population of a country.
Automaton and a decreased population blend much better than increasing or even maintaining population size.
You don't need taxes for a population that isn't there. Increased populations would only inflate that supposed necessity.

You succeeded because you succeeded. Not because you were smarter or harder working or more dedicated than others with the same talents and fortitude. It was a combination of those things with the right timing and luck and whatever the fuck else.
What does this have to do with the original point being made back on Page 115?
Because in spite of your assertion that your success comes because of blah blah blah, the spice in your secret sauce is "personal responsibility". Your view is limited.
This taints your statement.
Your post to mikemhg commented on the cognitive dissonance he might have had with BLM and the presence of violence at their rallies, but refused to acknowledge that he was making the point you wanted to make.
"one can post a video of the Proud Boy, Boogaloos, you name it doing the same thing." he said.
"You only want to see your side of things and gets disturbed when any less favorable side is shown." you refuted.
Cool.
He made the point that both sides can be bad, and you made.....a point....about something... and followed up with a 1000 word ramble about "hard work" and "responsibility".
But hey, its cool that you took the time to talk to Xu.Vi about your business and double down on exposing how limited your worldview is.

Declining population does not mean less infrastructure. Just look at Detroit.

But but, you see hehe needs to PROVE to us why his position on things is as such. Which is why he needs to give us his life story. He's coming from a place of SUCCESS and RESPONSIBILITY. Without which his opinions are WORTHLESS. It legitimizes everything he says because he sold his startup and because of that, NO ONE else can understand where he's coming from.
The point I wanted to make was that people, government and policy making need to be responsible and accountable.
By NOT supporting the lefties, one isn't racist, or lack of compassion or empathy that many left "activists" or supporters want to paint.
Socialism would ONLY work when everyone is responsible at least for themselves, and then we pour together our resource surplus for those who can't make it.
By not focusing on self responsibility, what you end up getting with socialism is what happened in Venezuela, Argentina... etc where there are MORE people dependable on the subsidies than those who work for those surpluses.
I wanted to use my example to highlight the importance of self discipline and responsible. Once that's achieved, one can expand to take responsibility for others.
If all you got from my post was bragging... then you just proved my point on the post I replied to mikehg. When there's evidence that represent a contradiction to your ideology, you just disregard it or discredit it as hard as possible and continue to believe what you want to believe. Because you cannot fathom the idea that your belief might and COULD be wrong.
I have seen both sides first hand... and only then I made my choices. What do you guys know about a failed socialism movement by growing in Canada? Nothing... because you have never lived in one and would never understand what a hardworking normal person have to endure in a regime like that. You have 2 choices... you sink along and become one of those who depend on the system, or you fight as hard as possible to GET OUT of that system.
By NOT supporting the lefties, one isn't racist, or lack of compassion or empathy that many left "activists" or supporters want to paint.

Exactly... so, you need to focus on something commonly achievable. Are you going to argue with me that self-responsibility is too hard?! That's the basic of many societal common values. Why do you need to raise the kids you have? Why do you need to study? Why do you need to work? All these things are just that... self responsible.
When everyone try to be responsible to themselves, then we can figure out those who can't.
And if there really is more people who can't do it on their own than those who can... then maybe we should be revisiting our strategies, because if there would be more people dependable to the system than those who contribute to it, then the system itself is being overly generous, if not simply unsustainable.
Then, figuring out how we could achieve a better society, while being sustainable is the key to go.
By saying that everyone is different and hence my ideology won't work is like talking about we can't live without fossil fuel because alternatives, but sustainable energy is too expensive for many folks.
Oil's economy of scale wasn't built in one day. Did we just stopped using it because it was expensive? No... we figured that's the way to go, build every step needed to go further and get the price/accessibility down where most can enjoy that.

Argues against socialism as unsustainable stating it is not the domain or responsible people
Instead argues for a system that's inherently unsustainable
I was going to respond to Hehe, but a few of you already did so, I'll pass. I must say your humble brag is extremely cringeworthy, perhaps you need to get out more, you aren't representing yourself as very cultured as you seem to profess. Thanks for once again espousing your ideas of ACCOUTABILITY and RESPONSBILITY, though.
Moving on, ahh yes, Hunter Biden! The guy running for president. I'm just finding this whole angle to interesting. We've all heard the term don't throw stones when you live in a glass house, this angle of nepotism is so fascinating that this is Trump's "card" so to speak, when it is literally one of his biggest vulnerabilities.
I hate the whataboutisms in this thread, so I'll keep it on Biden, and not mention Trumps children, and lackeys in which he's enriched (and in a speech just yesterday implied that he accepts bribes to provide contracts and approvals to private businesses)
I want to breakdown this whole "scandal" more, but feel as though my braincells are imploding on themselves as I write this.
-Blind computer repair shop guy holds "Hunter's" laptops for 3 years.
-Decides to check shit out, finds some stuff, and decides to give it to Rudy G of all people
-Only the NY Post, and Fox News/Daily Mail (both owned by Rupert Murdoch) have reported on this ridiculous story.
This truly stinks of real "fake news", but let's just say it's real. So we're saying the whole scandal is that Hunter tried to setup a meeting between Joe Biden and Burisma? A meeting?
Do the people pushing this ridiculous story not know that it was a bipartisan effort, meaning both the Democrats and Republicans were pushing for the firing of that Ukrainian prosecutor?
"Sens. Rob Portman (R-OH), Ron Johnson (R-WI), and Mark Kirk (R-IL), along with several Democratic senators, called for Ukraine’s then-president to “press ahead with urgent reforms to the Prosecutor General’s office and judiciary.” Four days later, Shokin resigned (although he didn’t officially leave until the following month when Ukraine’s Parliament voted him out).
This entire story is just complete nonsense. If anything, it just shows how much Joe Biden overexaggerates his involvement in benign foreign policy among other efforts, a quality he does far too often, unfortunately.
Bizarre, i know.
That the same media who shill for Biden, haven't even asked him about these emails, might avoid covering this.
I wonder how much of this 9 minutes total coverage was spent attributing these now authenticated emails to a fake Russian conspiracy

Did any of you guys see Rudy impersonating Chinese people the other day?! Somehow it got almost zero coverage even though it was racist as fuck and the idiot posted it on his own social media...........
I wonder if fox will cover this. The girl was pretending to be 15.
Can you guess who that is grabing his dick.
She's not 15. Never pretended to him that she was. And he's not married.
That's some scandal you have there

No, he brought it to the FBI, and layer had to appear in court regarding it, and then when nothing was done with it, the computer store owner sold it to someone else and it found its way up the chain to rudy
the Biden camp eventually admitted that Biden may have had an unofficial meeting with the Burisma ppl, so it's not on his official appointment book, I guess you could call it, surprised the republicans haven't, a secret meeting with Burisma
And Biden at the time claimed how awesome he was for witholding Ukrainian funding until they got rid of this prosecutor, this prosecutor who was threatening to investigate Burisma
Add to that, the links to the Chinese energy company who made allusions to paying Joe Biden a nice chunk of change
The problem here isn't that this is "fake news" it seems to be very real based on admissions the Biden camp are now giving, and some other parties whove corroborated conversations had/photos taken
If you want to say /shrug big deal
That's perfectly fine, but you have to remember the Dems and Biden camp, and CNN etc made a huge deal over Trump threatening to hold Ukrainian funding, and it even led to a failed impeachment /shrug
You want to say well trump does the same thing! Well that's fine too, but then why are you making a big deal about it when Trump does it, if you're fine with Biden doing it?
The even bigger problem here is Biden supporters think they're on the moral high ground, yet they're acting just as bad, arguably worse, than Trump supporters when it comes to news/evidence coming to light of their guy
Most of us on here arent from the United States (iirc you were? And elbastardo is now living down there, etc) but anyway, bcuz we're outsiders we shouldn't be clinging to a side, we should be able to see what's happening and say "wow that's fucked up, they're both fucked up"
Sure we can still say "I still hope X wins though" and shrug it off, but to not be open to the news, and to immediately attack it, because it goes against who we want to win, even when we have no skin in the game? that's a bit fucked up, and thats directed at everyone in here, including myself
That type of attitude just descends into greater problems

So he is not married to his secretary anymore? In the movie the girl plays borats daughter who is interviewing him. Why would he grab his dick during an interview?

The Chinese account, the newspaper said, is controlled by Trump International Hotels Management and it paid $188,561 in taxes in the country from 2013 to 2015.
In both the year he won the presidency and his first year in the White House, Trump paid just $750 in federal income taxes, the Times reported.
Obama went on full attack on Trump during a pro-Biden rally on October 21st. Barack said it is "not a good idea to have a US president who owes money to a foreign country".
I agree with Obama on that point. Is Trump a man who can compromise US foreign policy and US national security if he feels financial pressure from the Chinese government taxman?? hmmmmm.
As per this CNN reporter's opinion, this is the most important line from Obama's speech to support Biden and Harris:
"And with Joe and Kamala at the helm, you're not going to have to think about the crazy things they said every day. And that's worth a lot. You're not going to have to argue about them every day. It just won't be so exhausting."
That, for me, is the best and most succinct argument that former Vice President Joe Biden can make in the closing 12 days of this race. Deciding to fire Trump and hire Biden isn't about any specific policy or even any specific mistake that the incumbent has made. It's about a country absolutely exhausted by Trump -- his norm-busting, his misinformation, his junior high school bullying, and his tweeting, his tweeting, his tweeting...
Donald Trump is relentless. (His most ardent supporters suggest that is why they love him so much.) He just never stops talking and tweeting
It's just SO much. The last four years feel like we have been running on a treadmill, 24 hours a day/seven days a week. And notice I said a treadmill. Because we aren't going anywhere. We are just running in place. Trump mistakes movement for progress, and so he creates a whole lot of movement. But movement without results just makes us all tired.
The point for many Americans is that some of them have "Trump fatigue" . The endless tweets and words from this crazy uncle with his misinformation and insults towards people, are things that some Americans, such as my American aunt, uncle, and four cousins living in Arizona and California do not want to hear any more.
My American extended family cast their ballots by mail already because they choose Biden and Harris to be POTUS and VP.
They do not want to see Beijing Bunker Boy in the White House anymore.
Enough is enough! #Vote2020.

Genuinely curious to hear your perspective on this... is this still a negligible or acceptable amount of nepotism?
----------------- An e-mail to Hunter Biden's partner from a top Chinese official on July 26, 2017 shows the Chinese energy company CEFC proposed a $5 million "interest-free" loan to the Biden family "based on their trust on [Biden] family[.]"
Less than two weeks later, on August 8, 2017, $5 million was wired from a CEFC-affiliated investment vehicle to a Delaware LLC, which spent the next year transfering nearly $4.8 million directly to Hunter Biden's firm, according to Senate investigators
In a statement emailed to The Federalist and other news organizations, Tony Bobulinski, a former Biden partner, confirmed he was a recipient of an email published by the New York Post last week, dated May 13, 2017, showing Hunter Biden was offered a contract worth $3 million a year for “introductions alone.” The same email included an obscure note to setting aside 10 percent for “the big guy,” which Fox News reported was a reference for Joe Biden which has now been corroborated by Bobulinski.
“Hunter Biden called his dad ‘the Big Guy’ or ‘my Chairman,’ and frequently referenced asking him for his sign-off or advice on various potential deals that we were discussing,” wrote Bobulinsky, who was recruited to serve as the CEO of Sinohawk Holdings in partnership with the Chinese firm CEFC led by Ye Jianming by Hunter Biden.
A Senate report released last month revealed Ye and his associates held extensive ties with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Bobulinski also confirmed earlier New York Post reporting that Joe Biden had been lying when the Democratic candidate repeatedly denied having discussed business with his son, “or with anyone else.” Joe Biden even went as far as to fat-shame an Iowa voter for pressing the former vice president on the apparent conflicts of interest during a December town hall.
“I’ve seen Vice President Biden saying he never talked to Hunter about his business,” Bobulinski wrote. “I’ve seen firsthand that that’s not true, because it wasn’t just Hunter’s business, they said they were putting the Biden family name and its legacy on the line.”
Bobulinski continued, saying the Chinese were interested less in healthy financial returns on investment than they were “political or influence investment.”
Bobulinski said he had been contacted by the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee and the Senate Finance Committee Wednesday afternoon and intends to produce the requested documents “in the immediate future.”
-----------------
Full statement by Tony Bobulinski, Hunter Biden's business partner
Spoiler!
My name is Tony Bobulinski. The facts set forth below are true and accurate; they are not any form of domestic or foreign disinformation. Any suggestion to the contrary is false and offensive. I am the recipient of the email published seven days ago by the New York Post which showed a copy to Hunter Biden and Rob Walker. That email is genuine.
This afternoon I received a request from the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs and the Senate Committee on Finance requesting all documents relating to my business affairs with the Biden family as well as various foreign entities and individuals. I have extensive relevant records and communications and I intend to produce those items to both Committees in the immediate future.
I am the grandson of a 37 year Army Intelligence officer, the son of a 20+ year career Naval Officer and the brother of a 28 year career Naval Flight Officer. I myself served our country for 4 years and left the Navy as LT Bobulinski. I held a high level security clearance and was an instructor and then CTO for Naval Nuclear Power Training Command. I take great pride in the time my family and I served this country. I am also not a political person. What few campaign contributions I have made in my life were to Democrats.
If the media and big tech companies had done their jobs over the past several weeks I would be irrelevant in this story. Given my long standing service and devotion to this great country, I could no longer allow my family’s name to be associated or tied to Russian disinformation or implied lies and false narratives dominating the media right now.
After leaving the military I became an institutional investor investing extensively around the world and on every continent. I have traveled to over 50 countries. I believe, hands down, we live in the greatest country in the world.
What I am outlining is fact. I know it is fact because I lived it. I am the CEO of Sinohawk Holdings which was a partnership between the Chinese operating through CEFC/Chairman Ye and the Biden family. I was brought into the company to be the CEO by James Gilliar and Hunter Biden. The reference to “the Big Guy” in the much publicized May 13, 2017 email is in fact a reference to Joe Biden. The other “JB” referenced in that email is Jim Biden, Joe’s brother.
Hunter Biden called his dad ‘the Big Guy’ or ‘my Chairman,’ and frequently referenced asking him for his sign-off or advice on various potential deals that we were discussing. I’ve seen Vice President Biden saying he never talked to Hunter about his business. I’ve seen firsthand that that’s not true, because it wasn’t just Hunter’s business, they said they were putting the Biden family name and its legacy on the line.
I realized the Chinese were not really focused on a healthy financial ROI. They were looking at this as a political or influence investment. Once I realized that Hunter wanted to use the company as his personal piggy bank by just taking money out of it as soon as it came from the Chinese, I took steps to prevent that from happening.
The Johnson Report connected some dots in a way that shocked me — it made me realize the Bidens had gone behind my back and gotten paid millions of dollars by the Chinese, even though they told me they hadn’t and wouldn’t do that to their partners.
I would ask the Biden family to address the American people and outline the facts so I can go back to being irrelevant — and so I am not put in a position to have to answer those questions for them.
I don’t have a political ax to grind; I just saw behind the Biden curtain and I grew concerned with what I saw. The Biden family aggressively leveraged the Biden family name to make millions of dollars from foreign entities even though some were from communist controlled China.
