It's not an organization. Anyone against fascism is anti-fascist A.K.A Antifa.
These guys were Antifa.
What a diverse looking group.
I wonder how many of them held beliefs that would be considered racist by todays antifa's

Battle cable street oct 4th 1936. Fascist black shirts with police protection try to march thru a Jewish neighborhood. Antifascists fight back and stop the march. Seems very similar to what is happening in the U.S.
In May 1946, four Jewish former soldiers encountered Hamm addressing a small crowd at Whitestone Pond in Hampstead, north London. They rushed the small platform from which he was speaking, tangling with the stewards who were guarding it, and beat Hamm.
‘We Fight Fascists,’ by Daniel Sonabend. (Courtesy)
When the four men recounted their actions back at Maccabi House, a Jewish sports club in West Hampstead, they received a warm response. As Sonabend writes: “Over the next few months these young Jewish ex-servicemen saw the Whitestone Pond attack not as a one-off but as the template for an anti-fascist organization.

i also wonder how many of today's antifa would board a plane to fly to another continent, with the likelihood of never seeing their loved ones again, to fight fascism.
Courage doesn't seem to be the same prerequisite it once was.

And i bet if they supported the current president they'd be targeted and labeled as Nazis

The Association of German National Jews (German: Verband nationaldeutscher Juden) was a German Jewish organization during the Weimar Republic and the early years of Nazi Germany that eventually came out in support of Adolf Hitler.
Or these Americans.
That's Madison Square Gardens New York.
They called it a Pro American Rally. Sounds similar to a trump rally.
These protestors ran up against the largest police force New York City had deployed against a single demonstration. 1,780 police on horses, which the SWP referred to as "LaGuardia's cossacks," were defending the Nazis' right to "free speech." Street battles continued for five hours, teaching workers an important lesson about the character of America's "democratic" police.

Here's the thing, I don't believe that every Trump voter is racist. What I do know, is that being a racist isn't a deal breaker for them.
I think this applies to both sides, which is actually the point of the vids. Look how quickly all of you through out words like 'racists, stupid' because it words do not align with opinion. If you need to have colour in your sentence while describing a person, well, you have the racial issue. Search C lai (or whatever you call it) on RS. You fill your glass with hate, you are drinking and full of it.
see lai is not equivalent to the N word...
it's a word like samurai: is it racist when your first thought is a feudal era warrior from japan?
Words are words. It depends how you use them. If samurai was used as slander then it would be offensive. Look at the indigenous here... first it was Indians, then it was Natives, then it was Aboriginals and now it's Indigenous... It won't be long until Indigenous is slandered to the point that they want to be called something else. The point is, c-lai or samurai is not on the same level as the N word... but it can be if it was used the same way.

Please embellish, bring it close. The rest of what was written is in your Fails.
I think there's literally no way to get you to realize how wrong it is to compare something like "c-lai" (or "samurai if it was offensive" as some other person put it ) is not the same as the systemic ingrained racism involved in the "n-word". That's why I said you're too far gone. Your thinking is over 100 years behind.
We can only hope that the Proudboys movement doesn't become a big thing in Canada, and you don't join them if they do.

The closed mind statement you started with is the exact premise in which I am speaking against. I've never claimed to admire Trump, I am not racist, I never equated anything to the 'n word'; you all did that on your own; it's who you are.
I have stated over and over how many people nowadays love to hate, jump to their own opinionated conclusions, and then feel it is perfectly okay to pass their hate onto that person in some derogatory remark or with physical violence. Go ahead, read it again. My opinion and it is just my opinion, is that the way C-Lai is used here on this forum, from the years I have seen it used, has not been used in an endearing remark towards a particular group of people.

I can only hope that if you do continue on this path, you just keep it online... It's annoying but not dangerous. I'll just chalk it up to being stubborn and willfully ignorant. There's tons of people like that, it's fine. It's who you are, and we can leave it at that.
I just don't want to hear about you eventually getting mad enough to go around assaulting minorities. I can see that you're watching tons of these violent videos and posting some here. Please just don't get involved in that.

Alright, so you innocently brought up another word that you think is probably derogatory, but intended no parallels to be drawn to the racism clearly at the heart of discussion right now, ok. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

There's the definition for you. In case you aren't seeing the difference, it's a term shaped by its own culture to have a certain connotation, albeit negative. What it isn't is a word made up by an external culture to systemically degrade and vilify a certain demographic. Is it endearing? No. Is it racist? Also no. Is the n-word racist? Absolutely yes.
^ Skinnydawg, your tone and attitude is why people hate the libs. You are condescending, personal, presumptiuous, and just an overall arse. While you point things out to others and expect them to see it so clearly, why can't you see the log in your own eyes? Why can't you see that you are annoying as hell, stubborn and willfully ignorant and that's the way you are.

There you go, it's not me that can't stop. Wait till the others come and bro tag you up. Ignorant, add that to the list. Those videos popped up on a 5 second Google search, to get this party started, it's amusing how you all jump to conclusions, centered around your hate.

Please surrender your mod responsibilities.
I tend to stop reading his posts when he starts calling people Trumptards. Same as I would if others call people Snowflakes. That's like the lowest of the logical fallacies.

This kind of statement just shows how far away you are from understanding anything people have been talking about for the last 100 or so years. Wow.
If you spend any time in the Caribbean or South America, one thing you soon realize is how little attention is paid to race. Even though the history is far uglier there than in North America, they don't make race the central organizing feature of society.
Not infected with divisive cockamamie "solutions" like racial equity programs or critical race theory.
People treat each other like people rather than skin colours and they're much less divisible because of it. Imagine that. Probably just not sophisticated enough.

^^ I just don't understand how he can't see that the things he hates in others, he embodies those very things. He's close minded, thinks he is always right, not open to any other points of views, and just labels people who have a different perspective as ignorant and trolls. They'll let anybody be a mod here.

It's just me giving up.
Other people have put things in a much better way than I could ever hope to. Even other members here... I came around on the topic, and all I can hope is that others do to. But if they don't, I can just hope that the ignorance is innocuous, and building hatred doesn't lead them down a dark path so many people in America have gone down in the last 4 years or so.
(also ignorant doesn't mean stupid, so nobody is calling you stupid.)
(and nobody here has been called trumptard. The closest one is welfare but he's more troll than anything. I don't think anyone here is on record of actually being in support of trump to the point where they'd vote for him. I think people just like to be contrarian mostly, and have other problems with "the libs" and "libtards" that just takes form of seeming pro trump in some weird ways. But it generally stays online so it's fine)

I literally don't hate anyone other than trump himself. I am on record for this. I have no hatred for anyone who attacks me or anyone else. I don't hate you or zedbra or anyone else.
Also I am open to many points of view. I am happy to hear points of view from people all around the world, all sorts of religions, atheist, old people, young people, etc. I used to share many of the points of view of the people I am now arguing with. I literally campaigned for Stockwell Day in 2000
That's the environment we all grew up in. I never thought myself to be a racist either, until I realized that it's pretty much human nature to be racist. That reality affects some people more than others, and it's up to us to try to do things to counter balance that.
Now tell me how that statement is an insult to you or zedbra or anyone else, and how I "hate" you guys for not agreeing with me. Yes I "think I'm right" with this. If I didn't, I would try to learn more and try to get it right. That's what learning is, and trying to be a better person.
Edit: I will concede that I tend to overdo it with hyperbole when I write, and that's a bad habit I'll try not to fall into as much. Especially when it's addressing other people here
