I think it’s an origin story now where Zedbra is building a slow rage, kind of like an Opposite Day “Punisher” whos family didn’t get taken away from him nor is he American so no one is quite sure where exactly his darkness stems from, but regardless he’s collecting names of people who’ve been mean (by his observation) in the name of good so he can take action against them all because they dared to oppose tyranny without reflecting upon their own tyrannical (?) left leaning agendas, even though equality for repressed individuals seems to be the only underlying goal of this particular sect of, uhm, snowflakes.

It’s all quite confusing.

Newsmax is a pro-trump TV channel that was sued by dominion voting systems for pushing lies.

GLOW 02-02-2021 06:53 PM

will the dominion thing be stuck in courts for years and we forget about it?

whitev70r 02-02-2021 07:29 PM

Looks like no serious lawyer wants to work for Trump on his defense team. Probably knows that Trump doesn't pay his bills. That and Trump is still on, "Election was stolen from me."

Manic! 02-12-2021 11:31 AM

I kind of joke about trump supporters being inbred rednecks but it looks like Lauren Boeberts father may be wrestler Stan Lane who is also her moms cousin.

Investigators struggle to build murder case in death of US Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick

By Evan Perez, David Shortell and Whitney Wild CNN

Updated 9:56 PM ET, Tue February 2, 2021

(CNN)Investigators are struggling to build a federal murder case regarding fallen US Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick, vexed by a lack of evidence that could prove someone caused his death as he defended the Capitol during last month's insurrection.

Authorities have reviewed video and photographs that show Sicknick engaging with rioters amid the siege but have yet to identify a moment in which he suffered his fatal injuries, law enforcement officials familiar with the matter said.

Soon after Sicknick died on January 7, prosecutors in Washington opened a federal murder investigation, dedicating a team inside the US attorney's office to build out a case, authorities have said.

To date, little information has been shared publicly about the circumstances of the death of the 13-year veteran of the police force, including any findings from an autopsy that was conducted by DC's medical examiner.

In a statement the day after the insurrection, Capitol Police said that Sicknick had been "injured while physically engaging with protesters" and collapsed as a result of his injuries sometime after returning to his office. He died the next day in a local hospital.

Sicknick will lie in honor at the Capitol beginning Tuesday evening, Congressional leaders announced late last week, bestowing on him a sacred tribute that's typically reserved for dead American political leaders.

In Sicknick's case, it's still not known publicly what caused him to collapse the night of the insurrection. Findings from a medical examiner's review have not yet been released and authorities have not made any announcements about that ongoing process.

According to one law enforcement official, medical examiners did not find signs that the officer sustained any blunt force trauma, so investigators believe that early reports that he was fatally struck by a fire extinguisher are not true.

One possibility being considered by investigators is that Sicknick became ill after interacting with a chemical irritant like pepper spray or bear spray that was deployed in the crowd. But investigators reviewing video of the officer's time around the Capitol haven't been able to confirm that in tape that has been recovered so far, the official said.

The case could also be complicated if Sicknick had a preexisting medical condition. It could not be learned if he did.

A spokeswoman for the US Capitol Police declined to comment for this story citing the ongoing investigation.
Charges in other assaults on police

As part of the investigation into the riots, prosecutors have charged several with assault against a federal officer stemming from violent episodes at the Capitol, separate from the one involving Sicknick.

In court documents, FBI agents have laid out elements of the attacks faced by officers in alarming detail. More than 100 police officers were injured in the melee, including at least 15 officers who required hospitalization, according to court documents.

One man can be seen in surveillance video striking uniformed officers from the Capitol Police and the DC's Metropolitan Police Department with a metal baseball bat, according to an FBI affidavit.

Another man allegedly threw a fire extinguisher at a group of police officers, striking three in the head, an affidavit says.

Lying in Honor
Sicknick's case, however, will be without resolution when he arrives to the capitol in a ceremony Tuesday night before a viewing period for members of his police force.
A congressional tribute will be held on Wednesday morning, according to information released by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.

Because of the pandemic, the ceremony will be closed to the public. Later that day, Sicknick will depart the Capitol ahead of an interment at Arlington National Cemetery.

"The U.S. Congress is united in grief, gratitude and solemn appreciation for the service and sacrifice of Officer Brian Sicknick," Pelosi and Schumer said in a joint statement. "May this ceremony and the knowledge that so many mourn with and pray for them be a comfort to Officer Sicknick's family during this sad time."

In an email Tuesday, a spokeswoman for the Sicknick family declined to offer further comment about the status of the investigation into the officer's death.

The Sicknick family has thanked the congressional leaders and expressed appreciation "to the millions of people who have offered their support and sympathies during this difficult time."

"Knowing our personal tragedy and loss is shared by our nation brings hope for healing," the family said in a statement released over the weekend.

It appears certain that Sicknick was not rushed to the hospital directly from the Capitol. Several reports indicate that he returned to his police office. Hours after the siege ended, he texted his brother to say he had been “pepper sprayed twice” but was otherwise “in good shape.” Tucker Carlson notes that, according to the head of the Capitol police union, Sicknick had a stroke. That is consistent with a report from KHOU in Houston regarding what the Sicknick family was told about how the officer died.

I guess we will have to wait and see. In a perfect world, news and social media would be able to resist drawing conclusions and pushing narratives over facts.

Realistically, there was almost no chance to see 16 or 17 Republican candidates change sides to support the impeachment. As far as I can see, the following are the only 2 reasons that I can think of for the Democrats to try pushing the impeachment through:

- Pelosi's personal vendatta against Trump
- the political grandstanding to brand Trump as the only president in United States history to have 2 impeachment attempts against his name

I know the Democrats wanted to try and use the impeachment to prevent Trump from running for office again, but that never made sense to me, and I'm sure the Democrats are aware of how good their chances are for the scheme to succeed. So peronally, I just find the impeachment attempt to be rather weird.

SkinnyPupp 02-13-2021 10:11 PM

I mean when the president incites a riot, you pretty much have to impeach, don't you?

We've been through this discussion before looking at it from multiple different angles. There is no point to go through those same discussions again.

Sorry I either missed it for forgot monkaS

Seems to me that if a president incites a riot, you have to impeach. There's no other option...

Now American taxpayers get to continue to pay for a travel budget for a piece of shit conman, and complete coward.
Like they didn't pay for enough of his 107 stroke golf rounds already.
What's the actual point of laws or the impeachment process for politicians at this point? It's a complete mockery.

mikemhg 02-14-2021 10:36 AM

I think it's time to move on from this impeachment, we all knew it wasn't going to happen.

The Republicans are the powerbrokers and have been so for some time now, they are paid by vested interests to win, the Democrats are paid by those same interests to lose.

Apparently getting your dick sucked and lying about it falls under more grounds for impeachment then inciting a riot, enriching yourself directly by breaking the emoluments clause, or literally attempting to rig an election by pressuring state officials to falsify votes (with recorded phone evidence of such).

Fascinating times. The Republican party has a real identity problem going forward here, it'll be interesting to see if we see a split in the party come 2024.

Trump's lawyer calls out the media, both left and right:

MG1 02-14-2021 11:19 AM

She's just another pretty face. Finally, the media is called out. Not by some lunatic, but someone who has half a brain. This is not about a corrupt president. She had no idea. But, it is what it is.

Ratings /nuff said

The travel thing is false, there are numerous other benefits though, some for life:
