WHAT IF MY BIBLE HAS STICKY PAGES? Are some of the pages in your Bibles sticking together? No worries, this is very common with new Bibles that have gold gilding around the edges of the paper. For your convenience, we have provided links to a Youtube video that does a wonderful job of explaining how to break your new Bible in. For more information, watch the video below: Video link snipped |
So DJT stock went up another 12% today. The fact that this is legal is gobsmacking. This is OBVIOUSLY a pump and dump. Where is this money coming from? This is clearly a backdoor way for him to receive funds from foreign actors, legally. The corruption is right in our faces here, it's disgusting. |
|
Interesting. Can Trump sell his stock instantly? No. According to the merger agreement, he cannot sell his shares for six months, part of a “lockup” procedure standard in many merger deals. Cheeto cannot sell his DJT stock stock until at least late September. If Biden is re-elected, DJT will tank hard. DJT might fall faster than that other meme stock. GameStop haha. If Cheeto wins the U.S. presidency again, DJT could skyrocket. The stock price valuation defies logic for sure. The stock is just hype. |

I totally agree it is gonna be a pump and dump, and I'd expect at least part of the buyers expect that too. But it's all fine and dandy if you can get out before the bottom falls out, right? Right? :suspicious: |

I don't envy Elon in the slightest. All the money in the world and he's still a certifiable fucking loser. He spends billions on buying apps to try and get people to hate him less and fails miserably at it. That guy isn't happy in the slightest. |
There's plenty to hate Elon about, and to make fun of him for. But going after him for his ex wife's looks is questionable behavior. Besides, she looks like a normal average girl when she's not wearing all crazy makeup. Yeah she has big ears *shrug* https://www.rollingstone.com/wp-cont...02-RS-1800.jpg |
I certainly wouldn't be commenting on her looks if she didn't have kids with a guy whose life's goal was to make the internet a safer space for people to say the n word again. Anyone close to Elon isn't a good person. Look at who he associates with. |
Some guy at my gym last night was trying to tell me he gets all his news from X now because it's the only place to get ACTUAL news that hasn't been tainted by special interest groups. This guy is a pretty smart dude, has run multiple different businesses over the years and has a decent income + 2 kids. Crazy. All I can really do in those situations because I do like the guy is wait for the moment to pass while nodding "Mmmhmm" and "Oh yah... really?" a lot until the topic changes. The stuff people tell themselves these days............... |
People ain't even getting news anywhere. Cant' get it on social media, no one listens to the radio, and heck, who watches Global News / CTV now? They have a lot of opinion but unable to deep dive on any topic. Nowadays, I always ask - where did you get that facts from, can you share with me 3 things you disagree with on _____ insert topic.... BLANK stare... turns out they get their opinion from a 20 sec tik tok video. |
I honestly don't understand how people have become so dumb in this day and age. FailFish Yes, every established main stream media has its bias. That is an established and undeniable fact. It is perfectly fine to take the stories they portray with a grain of salt. In fact, any sensible person should really run whatever news they read/watch through their own BS filter to see how much stuff is overblown. But to think that any random Internet "influencer" is more credible than an established news organization... esp when these so-called influencers often get busted multiple times for flagrantly spreading misinformation... |
^We're in a paradox of choice. There is more information available to people than ever before, but it seems as though that's actually become a detriment to all of us. There is simply too much information, too many sources, too many options. This leads people to eventually choosing the most accessible and easy sources, and thus Tiktok, Facebook, etc. It's a strange phenomenon. |

A dirty little (maybe not so) secret of the USA is just how much they exploit their own citizens for cheap labour. I first clued into how bad their education system must actually be was way back when I was selected by BCIT to be on the team to go down to Houston to compete in the ISA student games. It was basically a series of challenges/problems that you had to work through. Not only did we blow through these problems in record time, but we were the only team that actually completed every problem. This was against teams from other technical colleges around the USA. I was pretty dumbfounded just how bad they were. I guess that's why in all the tv & movies it seems like such a "big deal" that the character is going to post secondary. There was an afterparty after the competition, and all of us on our team were swarmed by recruiters from the big energy companies ie: Chevron, BP etc "Here take our card give us a call!" lol |
And those easiest and most accessible sources are the least trustworthy. It is not surprising that people want to choose easiest and most convenient path, but the point of following the news is -- presumably, at least -- you want to know what the heck is going on in the world. But if all you're getting is mis-information, then what's the point to get that mis-information in the first place? The person would be better off not wasting time getting false information, and use that time on something else. Quote:

most trusted source of my news is RS Kappa quite often it has live camera footage of news events even before mainstream media reports it. |

According to my younger team members - TikTok = News + Real representation of reality Oh, and mainstream media is biased. I have to tread very carefully at work nowadays. :suspicious: |
