I can't believe 3 pages were spent arguing about the N-word, nothing is more amusing than to watch white guys argue why they can't drop the n-bomb when it's used in rap songs, utterly hilarious, but an all too common and boring argument.
Moving on, I think with this Russia meeting we're slowly starting to see the threads start to fray in the Trump administration. It's happening slowly, but I think we'll look back at this time as the turning point, at least I hope.
I do think the left is making a big mistake by demagoguing Russia and Putin too much though. While for sure Russia and Putin are acting as hostile entities, I think it's foolish to try to lay blame of the election results on them. By doing so the left is excusing the rot and decay that is occurring in American politics and its electorate right now.
The problem isn't Russia, the problem is America. It's media, the propaganda, the galvanizing, the racism, the hatred, the rampant white supremacy, there's a real problem with the American electorate right now that needs to be addressed. One can see the possibility of a civil war, Trump will come and go, but his voters will not. I don't understand how people can't figure that part out. So Trump maybe gets impeached, then what? What happens next? You think suddenly half of the country will become progressives?
I'm starting to realize this isn't about Trump anymore, there is literally no negative news or information that will come out to dissuade his supporters, literally nothing. A tape can come out with hookers pissing on his face while he drinks it gleefully, and they will claim it's a fake video, doctored, fake news. None of it matters, this is why he's Teflon.
The reason is because this isn't about Trump, it's about a movement, his supporters are standing for the movement behind him, and not so much the man himself. That's a real problem, and Democrats need to figure out a clear standpoint, a clear agenda for people to get behind and support.
Thus far they haven't, if that doesn't change, they're fucked in 2020. These god damn corporate Dems NEED to go in this coming primary. Here's hoping.
Hear Hear! Blaming Russia for Trump is like blaming the Housing Crisis on the Chinese. It's easy to do and probably has a modicum of truth to it, but the reality is it's keeping us from reflecting too deeply on ourselves and fixing the major structural problems that got us here.
Not sure which is worst, his comments yesterday with Putin at that presser or this! Apologize to the Trumpeteers in advance for this fake news, I know it looks like him retracting yesterday's comments with a ridiculous lame explanation, but it might not be him, it could be a leftist liberal staged setup.

His comments regarding Putin were actually stupid enough for Fox News to turn on him. That's got to be a first.

Actually the third page was more about the oppression and slavery of my people by the evil colored man for hundreds of years

Hahahahahaa Trump... kind of a double negative thing... that should clear this all up... LMAO... I will try this explanation next time I do something my wife doesn't like
Schwarzenegger looks like he just got found by his friends after they forgot they left him tied up on the roof of a casino in Vegas.
while there are serious human rights concern coming right from Putin's office and it's a little ironic of him to ridicule other democracies...a lot of what he says actual makes sense...inb4 it's pulled apart because RT

WASHINGTON — Two weeks before his inauguration, Donald J. Trump was shown highly classified intelligence indicating that President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia had personally ordered complex cyberattacks to sway the 2016 American election.
The evidence included texts and emails from Russian military officers and information gleaned from a top-secret source close to Mr. Putin, who had described to the C.I.A. how the Kremlin decided to execute its campaign of hacking and disinformation.
Mr. Trump sounded grudgingly convinced, according to several people who attended the intelligence briefing. But ever since, Mr. Trump has tried to cloud the very clear findings that he received on Jan. 6, 2017, which his own intelligence leaders have unanimously endorsed.
America would lose so much face if they did. Even Nixon was pardoned after being impeached. He would be deserving of being tried for treason, but it would be an admission that their governing system is broken and democracy is a failure.
Trumps actions seem to align with Russian goals as well. Weakening Americas allies, and the Western Alliance. Disrupting G7 economic relations, as well as Chinas with the USA. Weakening your enemies power is just as good as strengthening your own.
Creating sympathy for communist countries.
Most importantly, his body language after the Helsinki meeting, that clearly showed that he was being pushed around and bullied. It was as if, he found out something in that meeting that would have forced him to resign presidency. But that's just my speculation.

Weaking the relationship with American allies (ie. G7) is without a doubt against American interest. But from an American standpoint, I would argue that badgering and bullying China back into a more "meek and mild" behaviour is good for both American and worldwide interest. At both the individual and state level, Chinese money is buying up a lot of stuff, both materialistic and otherwise. In particular, at the state level, there is a ton of organized activities to buy influence, technology, resources, etc. Had the US wait until things get as bad as Australia, it would be far too late.
In this case, I'd say it takes a bully (Trump) to bully the other bully (China), and Trump has done that quite well. I know for sure that Obama, GWB, and Clinton absolutely cannot achieve what Trump has managed to do in terms of reining China back in.

What's going on with Australia? Is China flooding them with cheap goods and materials undercutting their economy?
American GDP nearly doubles Chinese. American total wealth is approximately 3 times that of Chinese. Chinese buying out America. I'd like to think it's the other way around.
Furthermore, a number of Austrlian politicians have been accused of being "too friendly" with Mainland China. I remember one of them in particular was revealed to have ties with the Chinese PLA, but I can't seem to remember / find his name at the moment.

It isn't so much a matter of GDP sizes. Instead, it is where the money is getting spent on.
I remember reading more than a few articles in Financial Times, Forbes, or the Economist, and they were indicating China has been investing on American tech companies and people where the technology involved could have / can lead to state and/or military use. In one article that I remember, the technology was initially funded by DoD, but after the prototype was developed and the DoD reviewed it, they decided it wasn't worth spending money on. The founders were later approached by some Chinese funding, and somehow managed to get US approval for the sale / technology transfer to their new Chinese financial sponsors. The whole thing is as ming boggling as it can be.
