Bra.. it’s basic physics.. you think a 130lb person can overpower a 280lb person? Highly unlikely. Yea no shit if someone tazed or shot they have a disadvantage.. lol
There’s plenty of examples of on-duty officers being overpowered by regular civilians..
Your average 280 pound guy is going to be fat and super out of shape. A cop is going to be trained to deal with that situation.
Your typical cop is not going to be a 2nd degree black belt BJJ practioner though. Can't really compare a cop to someone that dedicates their life in BJJ or MMA in general.
I'm sure Khabib can take down untrained 250 lb body builders all day long too.

Your typical 280 pound fat ass is not going to be trained either. Cops are trained to deal with unruly people.
I had a customer who was the head of security at a local night club and pro at his job. Guy looked like your average build white guy. He said the last thing you want to do is get into a fight. Another club in town just hired a bunch of roid monkeys. They ended up killing a dude and the club shut down.
Damn ... JD Vance as the choice for VP??!! He's like a mini-me of Trump, meteoric rise to popularity. The scary thing is if Trump won, anything happens to him, he is the effing Prez of the FuC*king USA with practically ZERO experience. He made a 360 degree turn from anyone but Trump and then started to suck his weenie ... scary turn of events. Whatever you think of Pence ... at least in the end, he did the right thing. JD Vance has gone on record to say that he would not have certified the last election !!
^ You might have noticed that doing a complete 180 on your moral compass is a rite of passage in the Republican Party
These clowns even endorse the guy after he calls their wife ugly and makes fun of their masculinity, just a bunch of insecure self-serving cucks addicted to power no matter how they have to get it
I think the other thing people aren't taking into account is that Trump isn't the current sitting president, so his SS team isn't going to be the all star team and their budget is quite limited. I would like to see a comparison of Bidens SS team vs Trumps. I'm sure Bidens team would be top tier.
I seem to recall that when someone becomes the presidential candidate, they get assigned a security detail until the election is finished, and they get briefed on a bunch of security matter. Of course at the time of the assassination attempt, Trump was only the presumptive candidate, so he may not be entitled to that additional security.
I also find the blame game between the SS and the local authorities to be pretty funny. Of course nobody wants to take responsibility when shxt hits the fan, but none of that changes the fact that shxt did hit the fan.
I mean, it would be pretty easy to blame local authorities pretty much anywhere in the USA... their policing system is a laughable joke. Unlike here, where the RCMP supplies policing trained at a standardized level to all remote communities in one form or another, towns in the USA like this little shitville are just a bunch of deputies that go through almost no training and get paid like $50k a year. You wonder why they have so many problems or shit like this happens? I can't imagine being the secret service guy that has to rely on local PD to set up a perimeter in small-town USA... I mean, you have to just hope you luck out and one of the guys has some basic military service or something resembling structure in their life.

I saw an interview with the director of the SS and she essentially said the buck stops with her. So she's definitely not dodging any blame, which I found refreshing. She's doing a full investigation and she said at the end of the day, she's the director of the SS, so she's responsible.
Also, Trumps team asked for increased SS budget, but they were denied. I suspect because they didn't think his threat level was high or his position wasn't high enough yet.
The big SS guys with the sunglasses are the ones you can see. There's a lot more in the crowds that you can't see... good luck blending in if you're tall, built and wearing a suit.
