Mark Kelly from Arizona? Either as D nominee or VP pick?

He's a Democrat from Arizona... which is kinda rare lol... former astronaut, former military... wife was injured in a shooting. Got more service medals than I can count.

Slam dunk for that dude as a VP candidate for sure... that's my bet.

Even just reading his wikipedia page makes your heart soar with American jangoism!!!! lol

don't forget that trump lost by quite a bit in the last election, it wasnt that close (306 to 232). i don't see why it would suddenly turn in his favour now. i think especially with biden out and harris in, it should be extremely winnable for the dems again.

What happened at the last election to what's happening at this election is not even comparable. If you can't see why it would turn in his favor you haven't been watching what has been going on the last couple of years.

EvoFire 07-22-2024 09:49 AM

Let's just agree both sides are shitting their pants for various different reasons, even based on the comments here. It's honestly anyone's game from here on out.

spell it out for me then? im not saying it's the same, but i think trump is a weaker candidate than he was in previous elections.

whitev70r 07-22-2024 10:13 AM

don't forget that Trump won over Hilary Clinton in 2016.

He would be the ideal pick, and he knows how to debate. He can also hammer home the fact that he served his country while J.D. Vance was partying it up at Yale. I'm sure the MAGA crowd would love this.

mikemhg 07-22-2024 11:21 AM

It's going to be Harris 100%, no point debating that one, the question is who will be her VP.

The more I've thought about it, Harris might have a chance. I already like how she's pivoting to talking about her record of prosecuting sex offenders, and relaying that to Trump, brilliant from a tactics perspective.

It'll also be interesting to see how the Republicans attack her, I'm curious if they'll go full on mask-off and resort to racist tactics, and if so, it won't end up well for them IMHO. Trump can't help himself in that regard, so it'll be interesting. She's a FAR better debater than Trump, and by extension Biden as well, if Trump is smart he won't show up to any further debates.

The Dems have a much better chance winning this election now that she's the candidate, the VP pick will be important though, I have a feeling it will be a man, and not a woman like Whitmer, etc.

BuT bUT JD Vance WuZ in tHe MaRiNes....

Public Relations Division.

mikemhg 07-22-2024 11:39 AM

JD Vance has a gay face, and who I wouldn't be surprised is a closeted lover of Peter Thiel's.

His stance on gay marriage and abortion is so weird, he's like a self-hating gay man.

The Dem's can't hammer that point, but the online spaces sure can.

Badhobz 07-22-2024 11:40 AM

Harris needs a hot lesbian VP. It’s a win win. She better drive a Subaru and loves trader Joes.

Already training his grandchild to be an incel?
Is that description of Kamala worse than a d grade celebrity, rapist, trust fund baby, draft dodger with multiple bankruptcies?

SkinnyPupp 07-22-2024 02:30 PM

They don't even bother hiding their racism behind "go Brandon" anymore. Just flat out say it.

It's part of why they brought back Hulk Hogan. It doesn't matter how nostalgic you are; nobody with a brain supports that guy unless they're racist fucks. And Dana White, the guy who beats his wife in public. And Linda McMahon, who says her family is "doing great" despite her husband and his company being sued for sex trafficking and being investigated by the feds.

And that's with Trump just running for president after a disastrous term. Imagine what they'll be like if he got back in.

pastarocket 07-22-2024 02:41 PM

I think that Harris's team is going with the strategy of Kamala, the prosecutor, against Trump, the convicted felon.

Kamala Harris, for the people. Let's not forget that she was the attorney general of California. She has loads of experience in successful prosecutions against criminals like Cheeto.

If Trump thinks that he can easily bully Kamala Harris, Orange man is gonna be in for a big surprise for Harris' barrage of attacks on him.

Who had influence on making abortion illegal in many American states, Roe vs. Wade? Trump.

Kamala will get more women voters to support her in the presidential election.

Would young voters in the Millennial, Gen Y demographics vote for Harris or Trump? That's a big question.

Perhaps voters who are not white would vote the first Black-Indian female president?

https://www.cnn.com/2024/07/22/polit...ing/index.html

It is simple, they say: prosecutor versus felon.

The strategy will be a return to the “prosecutor for president” framework of her 2020 presidential campaign, which included her slogan taken from her days standing up in court as a young assistant district attorney: “Kamala Harris, for the people.” In those days, her team was stretching the rhetoric. But this year, the GOP nominee has been found guilty in a New York hush money trial, liable for battery in a civil case, and faces two other criminal cases related to subverting the 2020 election.

Advisers believe that this is a way not just to raise up her own life story, but to make her come across as fighting for Americans while Trump is trying to serve himself. It’s also a strategy to play up attributes like strength, intelligence and toughness that are part of being a prosecutor but can also be of a commander in chief.

Her supporters are raring to see her do it.

“As a former prosecutor, Vice President Harris has a lot of experience holding convicted felons accountable,” said Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, a former primary opponent in the 2020 Democratic race who quickly endorsed Harris after the news of Biden’s decision broke. “She was fighting on behalf of abused women. She was in the trenches against giant banks. She was out in the middle of multiple fights every day as a prosecutor and then attorney general in California.”

My four American cousins, all women, are excited about the chance to vote for a female president of colour. They fucking hate Trump.

All concerns that they had about Biden's health do not matter any more. Sleepy Joe is a lame duck president. -stays as president until his term ends on January 20, 2025

It's a fast sprint now for Harris and the Democrats towards election day on November 5th.

Manic! 07-22-2024 03:03 PM

Fun fact trump donated multiple times to Kamala's campaign in the past.

Just found out vivek ramaswamy bought 8% of buzzfeed. Want's to get rid of the woke stuff on buzzfeed. Want's to hire Klandece owens and fucker carlson. his master plan is to pay them a low base fee and then pay them per view. Why would anyone who is independent with a large following join a failing buzzfeed. The only thing buzzfeed has that is any good is first we feast/ hot ones but Sean Evans can leave when every he wants.

At least the only non consensual sex Vance has been having is with a latex glove and his couch, so that's a win for the RNC I guess

whitev70r 07-23-2024 06:37 AM

^ I don't see the problem with JD Vance ... he talks like Trump, walks like Trump, quacks like Trump. :lol

Honestly, I'm shocked at his lack of intelligence. i thought it would complement or contrast Trump but bro, use your Yale Law school intellect and don't sink to stupidity, your boss already reaches that level of people.

I would love to see JD Vance sink this ticket !!!

68style 07-23-2024 07:26 AM

Only the first 35 seconds of this clip are relevant, but man... Republicans are shook... this guy doesn't even bother with dog whistles or double entrendre... just straight up blatant in your face racism:

Traum 07-23-2024 09:29 AM

There are so many other angles to attack Harris than to use the race card. And I'm pretty sure the GOP geezer also slandered an entire 1/2 of the voter population by labelling female candidates as "mediocre" too.

FailFish

Maybe the Dems would have a chance at winning after all...
