The 100% tariff was meant to appease the Americans and, to a certain extent, protect Canadian manufacturers, but I think any goodwill towards the US is gone. We need to start making our own deals that benefit us.

Also, BYD is already in Mexico. They were planning to build a massive factory but backed off so they wouldn't piss off Trump but I wonder if, with the tariffs in place, they’ll reconsider and move forward with the factory.
Another factor that could benefit us is having Mexico involved in a trade deal. However, the issue will always be our domestic manufacturers. Unless BYD invests in Canada and opens a factory, it’ll still be a tough sell.

So how have the first 10 days for the American Nazi party gone...
- Elon Musk does a double Nazi salute on Inauguration day.
- Trump pardons all Jan 6 protesters and commutes the sentences of any serving a sentence already (3 of the protestors have already been arrested on child porn charges - in just 10 days!)
- Trump orders the military to repurpose Guantanamo into a concentration camp to hold 30,000 illegal immigrants.
- An airliner collides with a military helicopter and Trump (and his team) get behind the podium and make vile racist accusations that it was caused by DEI policies which were targeted towards minorities, women, and the disabled (including dwarves!)
- The acting US Attorney fired lawyers who were involved in the prosecution of Jan6 protestors.
- FBI agents who were involved in investigating Trump's crime are being purged.
- The CDC is removing gender and equity materials from their website (including research).
- HHS and other agencies who report on things like health crises (like an epidemic) have been ordered to stop reporting information to the public.
- Tried to end birthright citizenship, a right that's is in the Constitution.

The purge is aimed at the FBI agents that were assigned to investigate the Jan 6ers too.

All Felon 47 needs to do is claim whatever he is doing is official state business, and he is literally above the law. In that sense, nothing he does would really be defying the Supreme Court.
Besides, the current judges are already stacked in his favour anyway, so it seems very unlikely that they will order Trump to stop doing something in the first place.
