I can't imagine this ending well for Elon. If you’ve noticed, Trump is dumping everything on him. Basically, Elon is the one signing all the bad cheques. And when shit hits the fan, Trump won’t be the one left holding the bag.

But I mean rooting out corruption and wastefulness is a good policy to build a platform on, it resonates with people. Certainly resonates with me.

does it matter what trump says... elon will be the fall guy and if ANYTHING is not working he just has to point.
at no point in any presidentcy has anyone just pause on any department. Elon thought outside the box, direct sight with no reporting / complaint protocol. Smart dude.

This is not the first time, and won't be the last time, that Trump fabricate lies on the fly. He has been fact checked and proven incorrect so many times before, and yet somehow his idiot supporters will still support him. Some of their standard replies include:
- The leftard media is lying to you about those fact checking
- Yeah, but he is still better than the senile old man before him
- It doesn't matter what Trump says -- I still support him
- The majority of Americans voted for him, and we are happy he is our president
- or just straight up keep cruising along as if Trump never made up those lies
His supporters are really a different breed that live in a parallel universe.

One hell of a resignation letter from the AUSA of SDNY who was asked to dismiss the charges against NYC Mayor Eric Adams - the dismissal is for a quid pro quo with Trump (Adams will help round up illegal immigrants in exchange for charges against him being dropped).
I have to say, the breadth, depth, and speed of widespread corruption from the Trump admin is really, really incredible from an execution standpoint. These criminals had a plan that covered everything and are going forth with virtually no opposition. They told everyone what they were going to do well in advance and have no shame about doing it - they're not making any effort to pretend it isn't a crime or corruption.
They're like the 72 win Chicago Bulls, the 80's Oilers, Tom Brady, the Senna/Prost era McLaren cars, and the Federer/Nadal/Djokovic grand slam run.
I can understand why hardly any Republican politicians are stepping up to oppose Trump -- they can pretty much guarantee the end of their political careers, at least in the next 4+ years, if they dare to step in and try to block Trump for anything.
What I don't really understand is -- how come the Democrat politicans aren't raising a bigger ruckus about what is going on? Is Trump's strategy of flooding the zone really that effective that it is completely overwhelming the Democrats? to the point that they don't even know how to react anymore? I am seeing a handful of injunctions here and there for a few EOs, but for the most part, it feels like the Democrats aren't able to do much to slow the wave of Trump's EOs.
