You know how many batshit crazy doctors I met or heard about down in San Antonio who believed vaccines were a hoax, and a bunch of other wackydoodle conspiracy crap that you'd think would be vetted out in a person with 8+ years of postgrad? The reality is we're all susceptible to indoctrination, it really just all depends on what your flavor of susceptibility is (religious, neoliberal, capitalistic, libertarian, etc.). |
Hehe is basically Asian JD Vance. A spineless, morally corrupt toadie who will sell out even his own family to advance his own status. He will bend over backwards trying to explain how Elon's Nazi salute was just a "from my heart to yours" signal, that Trump demanding half of Ukraine's resources in exchange for protection from Russia is not blackmail but good business and that all the hundreds of thousands of deaths Trump has been responsible for and will be responsible for going forward is a mild side effect of fixing a broken country. If Hehe was Argentinian he'd be cheering on Javier Milei (https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cp9x9j89evxo) |

Leave he-haw alone !!! He’s got envelopes to stuff…. It takes a lot of compression to shrink down that much cash into a small red envelope. He needs to start now for next year’s CNY. |

Now it's coming out that Milei's sister was being bribed to help promote this rug pull. Another conservative grifter that Trump endorsed: https://apnews.com/article/trump-mil...c55faf29021030 Why do these people within the Trump world always seem to be involved in these crypto scams? When will people smarten up that these people are grifters, scam artists, in power for the sole purpose to further enrich themselves. |
Anyone ever listen to Mearsheimer ? Gives a “realist” perspective on what’s happening w world politics. Doesn’t seem to stand too much on one side of the other but I suppose if you don’t like his take ( not realism) then he might not be your cup of tea. Hearing him talk about the US vis a vis Ukraine/russia/Europe and Israel/palestine has made me reconsider my positions somewhat. Bannon is quite intelligent ( albeit flawed )and has a definite populist position that I don’t know exactly lines up with conservative views . Which seems to me what trump is as well. Clearly not a Regan/Bush/ or even Romney conservative. Perhaps that’s why he can cut across traditional lines at times. |
It's Obama's fault... Quote:

Actually away working on a project. Everything doing quite well but it’s a lot of work (currently working like from 7:30 to 22:30). Assuming everything goes as planned, I might finally crack that elusive 7 figure income in a couple of years. |
America is fckd https://www.whitehouse.gov/president...-all-agencies/ This Executive Order does the following: ❧ All federal agencies, including independent regulatory commissions, are now subject to direct White House control. ❧ Regulations cannot be issued without presidential approval. ❧ The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) can now withhold funding from independent agencies if they don’t align with White House priorities. ❧ All federal employees must follow the President’s and Attorney General’s interpretation of the law, eliminating legal independence. ❧ A White House Liaison is to be installed in every independent regulatory agency to enforce direct presidential control. This is the biggest executive power grab in U.S. history. ⚠️ This formally ends the concept of an “independent” regulatory agency, dismantling one of the last barriers to absolute executive power. 📍 This order effectively erases the last major restraints on executive power. 📍 The federal government no longer operates with checks and balances. 📍 Regulations and laws are now dictated solely by the President. 📍 If left unchecked, this is the moment the U.S. ceases to function as a democratic republic. 1️⃣ The President Now Controls All Regulatory Agencies ✅ The SEC, FTC, FCC, and FEC are no longer independent. The Stock Market is now subject to White House control, enabling insider trading, favoritism, and targeting of political opponents. Antitrust laws can be selectively enforced, allowing administration-friendly monopolies to expand unchecked. Political opponents in the tech sector, media, or finance can be targeted with regulatory action while allies are protected. Elections are now influenced by direct White House oversight of the Federal Election Commission (FEC). ✅ The FDA, EPA, and consumer protection agencies are fully politicized. Drug approvals, food safety regulations, and environmental policies can be rewritten for political or corporate interests. Climate change regulations can be erased overnight. Scientific research is now subject to White House approval before public release. 🚨 Implication: There is no longer any neutral enforcement of economic, environmental, or election laws. Everything is now dictated by political loyalty. 2️⃣ The White House Can Block Agency Budgets or Direct Funds Elsewhere ✅ The OMB can now adjust funding allocations for independent agencies. This gives the President the power to defund agencies without needing Congress. Regulatory agencies that challenge presidential policies will be quietly strangled of resources. Agencies loyal to the President will receive full funding—even illegally. 🚨 Implication: Congress no longer controls federal spending on regulatory enforcement. The executive branch can choke out opposition agencies and reward allies. 3️⃣ The President & Attorney General Have Final Say on All Legal Interpretations ✅ All federal employees must follow White House interpretations of the law. The Attorney General’s opinions override agency lawyers, inspectors general, and independent counsel. Agencies cannot adopt their own interpretations of legal statutes—everything must align with the President’s views. The President can rewrite federal legal interpretations overnight. 🚨 Implication: Legal consistency is gone. Agencies cannot push back against corrupt, illegal, or unconstitutional directives because the President’s interpretation is the only interpretation allowed. 4️⃣ Installing White House Liaisons in All Regulatory Agencies ✅ A “White House Liaison” will be placed in every independent agency. This ensures constant presidential oversight of daily operations. These liaisons will report agency actions back to the White House and enforce political compliance. Agency directors will no longer have the ability to act without White House approval. 🚨 Implication: There is now a direct enforcement arm inside every regulatory body. Even agencies that resist presidential control will be internally monitored and controlled. 📍 Every regulatory body—from financial markets to environmental protections—is now politicized. 📍 Congress no longer controls federal funding—agencies must obey the White House or risk defunding. 📍 The President’s legal interpretations override all agency autonomy, eliminating independent enforcement of federal laws. 📍 The federal bureaucracy, once designed to be resistant to corruption, is now completely subject to presidential loyalty. |

I might be spineless or whatever you want to call. But I work for my shits. Do you think buying a CT and all the toys and trips because I have a magic goose that lays golden eggs? I work my ass off when I have to. I’m not going to treat anyone differently just because his skin color, political beliefs, or whatever. I treat everyone with respect. And say if a person is my employee, I want solutions to my problems. He can be a nazi believer or whatever deep down, that’s his personal freedom. As long as his personal stuff doesn’t come into the work stuff, whatever he thinks is his problem. Last time I checked, we have freedom of political pov. |

Now read the opinion piece Manic just posted on the biggest power grab in US history, and please reflect on it, consider it for 15 minutes, and then come back to us with an actual opinion. This is another step away from democracy, taking power of the many and putting it in the hands of one person. Please share, what do you think of that? Do you think it is good for the country? Or for other countries? You said you were happy Trump won, and since we all knew he was planning on doing this, it must mean you are happy he is doing it. Right? Just give us 15 minutes of thought, not this "Do you think for a moment that Elon wants to kill all Jews?!" garbage. That shit is rotting your brain; use it for a little bit. 15 minutes Edit here's a take from the other side, via WaPo |

The beauty of US politics is that they always balance themselves out somehow. For the past 4yrs, us has gone too far left. So much so that people handed reps a landslide victory not seen in decades. Yes, the whole thing is going to shift right very quickly and unfortunately very far. So far that even I wouldn’t agree with. But remember this, us always balance themselves out. Should things get too far, it will land back in Dems hands at some point. What the left needs to consider is, what caused them to lose this election? If they continue down the path of wokeism and various social agendas, I’m sad to report that maga is going to be in power for a very long time. Because people no longer feel associated with that value. They just want to get on with their lives without having to worry that a single word on social media might cause them their entire career. Even when the context was not anywhere remotely associated with discrimination. Common sense will always resonate with voters. It used to be a common sense to care about the smaller groups in our society, but when you bring that too far, it stopped being common sense but rather something forced upon you. I always consider myself independent and slightly left leaning person. I was fortunate enough to live in a family that went from poor to some very significant wealth. And my parents being brainwashed to donate most of their wealth away also did something to me. I max out my yearly donation allowance to autism related charities and if I can generate a level of wealth, I do plan to use that to have an impact in this world, however small the impact might be. But my values, which were at one point left leaning is now considered far right by lefties. Because I am merit focused and don’t chase anything blindly. I read Obama biography as well as Elon musk. I find them both incredibly inspiring. However, facts remain… I’m no longer lefty because left has left. It’s time for the left to come to their original value that many of us in the middle can call ourselves lefties again. |
