Good for Macron. He treated tump like an aged elder who is checking out of reality. No need to draw a line in the sand, just gently steer the conversation back to reality and let everyone see who really has the situation in hand. |

tl;dr - Biden Admin only allocated $483k for armoured EVs (edit: not armoured but light duty) but Trump/Elon changed it to $400m but backdated the docs to make it seem like Biden did it. I wonder what Hehe has to say about all the criminal behaviour Elon is engaging in. Will he say it isn't criminal behaviour? Or that this is genius behaviour for breaking into the gov't and defrauding them? Guy loves Elon more than all 13 of Elon's kids love him combined. |
I don't think the purported $483k under Biden was allocated for ARMOURED EV's... my reading of it was it was for light duty (re: admin) EV's. |
Your thoughts on this "deal" between the U.S. and Ukraine? -sounds like Cheeto forced Zelensky to sign a crappy agreement. There are no security guarantees in the form of weapons and other military equipment from the U.S. to protect Ukraine from Poutine's evil plans. The text of the agreement only mentions that the U.S. "supports" Ukraine's pursuit of security measures. Then the U.S. gets repayment in terms of Ukraine's natural resources and its critical minerals. https://www.cnn.com/2025/02/26/europ...ntl/index.html But the final version of the text seen by CNN said only that the United States “supports Ukraine’s efforts to obtain security guarantees needed to establish lasting peace,” without making explicit commitments. At a press conference in Kyiv, Zelensky conceded that the deal does not have “concrete steps on security guarantees” because these need to be decided jointly with the US and Europe. I am thinking that leaders of European countries like France and Germany are gonna be angry if Europe has to pay the bill in terms of providing military support for Ukraine. This isolationist approach from Cheeto will bite the U.S. in the ass big time. Lack of alliances with European countries in terms of NATO will mean if one day the U.S. needs military support from other countries, European countries will just ignore Cheeto. "You're on your own, Trump!" haha. |
Just my personal opinion, but I think a lot of countries are just lip servicing Trump until he goes away (and in that, I say "hopefully")... I mean, Trump himself has shown that agreements aren't even worth the paper they're written on violating our free trade agreements, so Zelensky says yes yes stop saying I'm a dictator and that I started this war and we'll give you our minerals... but in the future he just... kinda doesn't? |

It's incredibly stupid behaviour but par for the course for Trump and his band of criminals. Quote:

Not sure what Trump's strategy is. I see the most obvious, 'recuperating' some financial losses for all the military aid. But this agreement enables Ukraine to keep on fighting ... but I thought the end game was to reach a peace agreement. Then he's getting in bed with Putin ... how's this all going to lead to peace? |

maybe he is finally beginning to realize the economic realities of slapping tariffs on imports = increased price of things in the US. He is finding other ways to shore up the coffers of the US ... by calling back on the 'debt' from helping Ukraine through collecting revenue from their minerals. |
