Who taught you that these groups are marginalized? How long have you been living in Hong Kong for? |
I'm not watching that. You have to make your own point. You said your issue was "Rather than pretty much listing every group except, well, you know who." Who else belongs listed with those groups? |
He has to rail against white guys not being special to the dreaded "woke" because those dreaded "wokeys" are attempting to even the playing field out, which is only realy possible by taking a dip too far in the other direction, which they have, which is what so many people are upset about, and because he IS a white guy who didn't have things easy, and possibly (from the sounds of it) even worse than a lot of marginalized groups, he can't fathom it because it feels like he has to fight against being a white guy AND society to climb out of a hole now when really he's never understood or appreciated what's just naturally fallen into place for him without any noise or aberrations in the force as an average white guy when he was dong really well now that he's squandered it all and has to start from the bottom again. The real villain in his story seems like his parents, but I guess the "woke mob" are a good substitute when they're the only ones alive to rail against/blame. |

We all know who the system wants to uplift when it comes to the lower and middle classes, while those same standards don't apply to the elites. Hence why Ruby Dhalla was torpedo'ed by the Liberal party and not even given a chance, while Mark Carney was coronated from day 1. Rules for thee, and all, is the gold standard for Canadian culture since wokeism paved over our culture. |
Great68 you don't have to always come across so jealous that I managed to do all the things most guys dream of... before I was 25. Is life difficult now? Sure, but a lot of that is due to what happened as a result of the bullshit during COVID. I'd be making fat money in 2025 if it weren't for that colossal amount of bullshit, media coordination, and insane government overreach. Shit crushed my balls for sure. But, here I am on a Sunday morning, cooking breakfast, socializing on a forum, getting ready to code with the AI and Cursor and work on my comeback. Even Elon's rockets have to fall back to Earth for a refueling. :awwyeah: |
I knew you when you were 23-25... that might have been some Chad-bro's dream but not most peoples. |

You should not sell them for a long time. Unless you're a trader, in which case I doubt I could convince you to hold for more than a day. |

For the time being, I continue to -- perhaps naively -- refuse to believe that Americans in general have taken an antagonistic attitude towards us. Trump and his yes man cronies definitely do, so the next 4 years are going to be difficult. But when Trump eventually leaves the picture in 4 years, I would expect US-Canada relationships to return to a far more "normal" state. This is not to say that Canadian trust towards the US would completely recover, but at least we shouldn't be antagonistic. I feel like that iuf we can find some sort of pause button on the F35 purchase, or only make a nominal purchase until the coast becomes more clear, that would be the ideal solution. |

The administration in power is left wing? Is the establishment now just a way to say "people I don't agree with" to claim some sort of moral superiority? |

Whatever left-leaning establishment that was left over from the Biden era have been getting gutted in the last 2+ months. |
Conservative Supreme Court, conservative senate, conservative house, conservative president, conservative administration, most popular social media platform is run by a conservative (Facebook), most watched news channel is Fox News. Like what the fuck are you even talking about lol. |

These facilities are privately owned and run for profit. Companies like CoreCivic and GEO Group receive government funding based on the number of people they detain, which is why they lobby for stricter immigration policies. It’s a lucrative business: CoreCivic made over $560m from Ice contracts in a single year. In 2024, GEO Group made more than $763m from Ice contracts” The gift is real. |

Every single thing seems to go back to Covid. You legitimately need therapy. That's not a dig. You gotta get this resentment out of yourself about something that isn't changing and isn't happening even anymore if you actually want to move forward with life. Not everything is the same as a vaccine you didn't want. |
Remember when trump and a bunch of tech bros announced they where going to spend 30 billion on AI data centres and musk got upset and claimed they did not have the money. Well musk is now joining them. https://www.pymnts.com/artificial-in...tructure-fund/ Quote:
