The anger is palpable even in Australia. I keep having to tell everyone we are Canadian and then you see an instant relief in their face, otherwise I’m almost certain they would have spat in our food. |
Nah tell them you're Chinese from China if you want that sweet sweet Aussie Saliva |

1. I predict a market sell off tomorrow as people were only reading the headline that the tariffs were paused when they were only reduced by a quarter b/c of the increase to China (where most goods are from). Canada/Mexico seem to have larger tariffs put on as well and aren't subject to the 10%. As people realize how little things changed we'll see them sell off. 2. I would gladly join whatever Signal chat there is that is planning out the market manipulation. Add me to Houthi Market Manip PC Small Group please. I hear OpSec is not very good on Signal. 3. I'm debating exiting a small amount to take advantage of the bounce and watching this thing keep cratering. I don't like to time the market much but I'm firmly in the camp of the downturn is totally not over and we'll still see big drops ahead. |
^ downturn is definitely not over, depending on when the retard types or goes on Fox again. But then making all the billionaires pissed at you does have it's consequences |
I stopped looking at my DCPP/RRSPs over the last few weeks to save myself a headache. I'm only 39, so my investments still have a long way to go until I ever retire, but I feel bad for those people approaching their retirement age who are seeing their pension funds played with like a toy by these rich assholes. This 90-day pause just adds more uncertainty, allows this whole thing to continue to be dragged out. Businesses aren't, and won't, invest into anything right now. Hello recession. |

All my clients are buying and stock piling because they can - esp with no more SE asian country with 60% tariffs. i'm just eating popcorn and cant' wait how this president will ruin the global economy. Heck, i don't give a crap about PP or Liberals no more. This is way more interesting. |

what kind of exec orders are being signed.....this is beyond me. Trump signs executive order on water pressure to ‘restore shower freedom’ White House says order will ‘make America’s showers great again’ and ‘end the Obama-Biden war on water pressure’ |
Are eggs cheaper yet? US egg prices break record high for third consecutive month even as inflation drops Nope |
He said he was doing a good job bringing prices down and importing them from KkKkkkkorreaaaaaa |
white hillbillies aren't going to like kimchi flavoured eggs from Korea. |
Not sure how I never saw this until now: Watch til the end -- or at least, skip to near the end to see a special cameo that's relevant to us LOL~ |

China responded, putting a 125% tariff on American goods. They say they won't bother going any higher since there's no need. Not sure if that affects me, but I don't buy many American products anyway. Even Doritos are made in China now and they taste pretty much the same. |
Don't all region make their own pop / snack / chips? There's no reason doritos are shipped from US. |

The Taiwanese and Japanese made ones are here too, but they all suck The Chinese ones of American flavours are good enough |
