Did JT or Obama knowingly lake money from RSS supporters? Until modi became PM he was banned by the US state department. Also, JT is not a fan of modi. The whole India trip was a set up because the RSS doesn't like all the power Sikhs have in Canada.

As U.S. Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) joined the first presidential forum of the 2020 election, she was protested for the second time in a month by demonstrators disturbed by her ties to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
Holding signs that said “Tulsi, Mascot of India’s KKK,” approximately 30 demonstrators protested outside the She the People forum hosted on the campus of Southern Texas University (TSU) in Houston, Texas.
According to a press release issued by the Organization for Minorities of India (OFMI), the diverse group included Indian-Americans from Buddhist, Muslim, and Sikh backgrounds, as well as African-Americans.
According to the OFMIL press release, the forum, hosted at the largest black university in Texas, focused on issues affecting women of color. “Women of color are expecting to be represented here today,” said demonstrator Jada Bernard. “But the only thing that Tulsi Gabbard represents is the people that are financially backing her, which is the RSS, which is responsible for violating and slaughtering India’s women of color.”
The RSS is accused of engaging in organized violence against India’s religious minorities as well as Dalits. Notably, it is linked to a 2008 pogrom against Christians in Odisha and a 2002 pogrom against Muslims in Gujarat. The United Nations has called the RSS an “ultranationalist” group that promotes “Hindu extremism,” and the U.S. State Department reports that it is “implicated in acts of violence and discrimination against Christians and Muslims.”
NEW DELHI / CHICAGO: The World Hindu Congress, held in Chicago between September 7 and 9, received widespread media attention, in particular for the keynote address by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat. The Congress was organised by fellow Sangh Parivar organisation the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP).
What barely made headlines, however, was a concerted effort by a small but determined group of protesters, who gathered at the venue in Chicago with banners and chants of ‘Stop Hindu Fascism’. A couple of protesters were arrested and later released, charged with disorderly conduct and trespassing.

I think it's pretty clear that Tulsi is auditioning for her career post president run, I'm sure she'll be a great contributor on Fox News, or whatever conservative media institution she'll be heading to once she drops out.

Her issue wasn't the impeachment itself, but how everyone pretty much has to vote in a partisan way. And if you look at the results, that's exactly what happened. She was basically calling out the Republicans (although I think 2 of them did vote for impeachment)
It obviously was risky though, considering how many people are taking it as a pro-Trump thing...

Noah R. Feldman, a witness called by Democrats in the impeachment inquiry into President Trump, cautioned Thursday against the House of Representatives not sending its findings to the Senate.
Reacting to the House not having formally notified the Senate of the two articles of impeachment passed this week, the constitutional scholar said that could be a “serious problem” if the articles remain in limbo.
“Impeachment as contemplated by the Constitution does not consist merely of the vote by the House, but of the process of sending the articles to the Senate for trial,” Mr. Feldman wrote in an editorial. “Both parts are necessary to make an impeachment under the Constitution: The House must actually send the articles and send managers to the Senate to prosecute the impeachment. And the Senate must actually hold a trial.”

She technically delayed it one day and then house went on 2 week holiday break. This is impeachment legality ... it would take you more than one day to put all your paperwork together to buy a condo ffs!

Whenever a non-Indian politician comes to a Sikh temple they at least butcher a few Punjabi words or make a joke about how they are not going to say any. Nikki goes to a temple that her dad is the president of and doesn't speak a word of Punjabi. I have been too mixed weddings and the non-Indian side has gone out and bought Indian clothes. I heard many people that voted for her didn't know she was Indian.

[A former Democratic governor of Hawaii on Monday called on presidential hopeful Tulsi Gabbard to immediately resign from her seat in Congress so the state can hold a special election to replace her.
