Did JT or Obama knowingly lake money from RSS supporters? Until modi became PM he was banned by the US state department. Also, JT is not a fan of modi. The whole India trip was a set up because the RSS doesn't like all the power Sikhs have in Canada.

tulsi is trying to play dumb like trump when he said he didn't know who david duke was.

Quote:
The banned Indian official is Narendra Modi, a longtime Hindu nationalist who is the prime ministerial candidate of the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party, or BJP. Nine years ago, U.S. officials denied Mr. Modi a visa just as he was preparing to travel to New York to address Indian-Americans at a rally scheduled in Madison Square Garden.

That 2005 decision was based on Mr. Modi's failure to stop a series of deadly riots three years earlier by Hindus against minority Muslims in the Indian state of Gujarat, where he was (and remains) chief minister. The State Department invoked a little-known U.S. law passed in 1998 that makes foreign officials responsible for "severe violations of religious freedom" ineligible for visas. Mr. Modi is the only person ever denied a visa to the U.S. under this provision, U.S. officials confirm.

Tulsi Gabbard called ‘Mascot of India's KKK’ at Texas Presidential Forum

As U.S. Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) joined the first presidential forum of the 2020 election, she was protested for the second time in a month by demonstrators disturbed by her ties to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

Holding signs that said “Tulsi, Mascot of India’s KKK,” approximately 30 demonstrators protested outside the She the People forum hosted on the campus of Southern Texas University (TSU) in Houston, Texas.

According to a press release issued by the Organization for Minorities of India (OFMI), the diverse group included Indian-Americans from Buddhist, Muslim, and Sikh backgrounds, as well as African-Americans.

According to the OFMIL press release, the forum, hosted at the largest black university in Texas, focused on issues affecting women of color. “Women of color are expecting to be represented here today,” said demonstrator Jada Bernard. “But the only thing that Tulsi Gabbard represents is the people that are financially backing her, which is the RSS, which is responsible for violating and slaughtering India’s women of color.”

The RSS is accused of engaging in organized violence against India’s religious minorities as well as Dalits. Notably, it is linked to a 2008 pogrom against Christians in Odisha and a 2002 pogrom against Muslims in Gujarat. The United Nations has called the RSS an “ultranationalist” group that promotes “Hindu extremism,” and the U.S. State Department reports that it is “implicated in acts of violence and discrimination against Christians and Muslims.”

NEW DELHI / CHICAGO: The World Hindu Congress, held in Chicago between September 7 and 9, received widespread media attention, in particular for the keynote address by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat. The Congress was organised by fellow Sangh Parivar organisation the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP).

What barely made headlines, however, was a concerted effort by a small but determined group of protesters, who gathered at the venue in Chicago with banners and chants of ‘Stop Hindu Fascism’. A couple of protesters were arrested and later released, charged with disorderly conduct and trespassing.

One of the protesters, South Asian affairs analyst Pieter Friedrich described the RSS as “the KKK of India”.
it doesn't really matter anyway because she will never get nominated.

Tulsi is definitely not some Russian operative, and I don't think anyone credible has alleged that.

I think it's pretty clear that Tulsi is auditioning for her career post president run, I'm sure she'll be a great contributor on Fox News, or whatever conservative media institution she'll be heading to once she drops out.

I think that's blatantly obvious at this point.

Her voting "present" was embarrassing in my opinion. AOC was right when she said, either vote Yes, or No.

What is the point in you being there if you can't stand for something when it actually matters?

So Pelosi isn't sending the articles over to the Senate, wanting Quid Pro Quo from the Senate to get what they want. Which is, Obstruction of the Senate and abuse of power. Typical leftist hypocrisy. You can't orchestrate this clown show

Her issue wasn't the impeachment itself, but how everyone pretty much has to vote in a partisan way. And if you look at the results, that's exactly what happened. She was basically calling out the Republicans (although I think 2 of them did vote for impeachment)

It obviously was risky though, considering how many people are taking it as a pro-Trump thing...

Awww looks like we'll have to pull Trump's name off that list of impeached presidents *sniff sniff.
And just like that, the democrats leverage disappeared-poof

https://m.washingtontimes.com/news/2...ness-says-tru/

Quote:
Noah R. Feldman, a witness called by Democrats in the impeachment inquiry into President Trump, cautioned Thursday against the House of Representatives not sending its findings to the Senate.

Reacting to the House not having formally notified the Senate of the two articles of impeachment passed this week, the constitutional scholar said that could be a “serious problem” if the articles remain in limbo.

“Impeachment as contemplated by the Constitution does not consist merely of the vote by the House, but of the process of sending the articles to the Senate for trial,” Mr. Feldman wrote in an editorial. “Both parts are necessary to make an impeachment under the Constitution: The House must actually send the articles and send managers to the Senate to prosecute the impeachment. And the Senate must actually hold a trial.”

...not sure if serious. Saying he isn't impeached because they haven't delivered the findings to the senate is like saying I haven't been laid off since my two-week notice came yesterday.

Also, I like how you left out the rest of the article.
Quote:
“If the House does not communicate its impeachment to the Senate, it hasn’t actually impeached the president. If the articles are not transmitted, Trump could legitimately say that he wasn’t truly impeached at all,” Mr. Feldman wrote for Bloomberg.

Should the House indefinitely delay sending its findings to the Senate, “then Trump could say with strong justification that he was never actually impeached,” Mr. Feldmanadded.

“And that’s probably not the message Congressional Democrats are hoping to send,” he concluded.

Mr. Feldman, a law professor at Harvard University, was chosen by Democrats to testify during the first public impeachment hearing held this month by the House Judiciary Committee.

Appearing before Congress on Dec. 4, Mr. Feldman said he believed that Mr. Trump “committed impeachable high crimes and misdemeanors by corruptly abusing the office of the presidency.”

The Democratic-controlled House subsequently voted Tuesday to pass articles of impeachment against Mr. Trump for both abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California has not yet committed to sending those articles to the Senate, however, where Mr. Trump is likely to be acquitted at trial by its Republican majority.
Also, I thought you guys don't believe anything in WaPo? Is that only when it doesn't meet your agenda?

Thank you for pointing out that it's a democrat star witness noting this,as opposed to some right wing pundit.
You clearly don't understand the game which P-P-P-Pelosi attempted to play and just lost.

Try reading past the first word.
Or you can take it from the Bloomberg article where it originated if that makes you feel better.

Trump wanted a quick trial ... Pelosi 'delays' sending charges to Senate. It's a frickin chess move. What's the hurry, it's Christmas ... let him sit in his pile of shit and stink for a while. She technically delayed it one day and then house went on 2 week holiday break. This is impeachment legality ... it would take you more than one day to put all your paperwork together to buy a condo ffs!

No one in either party want's a center-left or center-right candidate. That's why trump was nominated.

Mitt Romney had to have a TV special where he spent 30 minutes explaining what a Mormon was.

Obama had to fight off accusations he was a Muslim.

bobby jindal and nikki haley had to change their names, religion, and pretend to be white to get elected. Before Nikki Nimrata Haley become governor the only thing I knew about her was 2 guys had claimed they had an affair with her. Even looking at her official campaign picture you couldn't tell she was brown because it was taking outside in the sunlight.

How is gabbard going to explain this:

The republicans are going to have a field day.

Jesus I never even knew this, that's bloody hilarious. Always figured she was white, interesting how much she hides that, down to even changing her name.

Gross.

Whenever a non-Indian politician comes to a Sikh temple they at least butcher a few Punjabi words or make a joke about how they are not going to say any. Nikki goes to a temple that her dad is the president of and doesn't speak a word of Punjabi. I have been too mixed weddings and the non-Indian side has gone out and bought Indian clothes. I heard many people that voted for her didn't know she was Indian.

https://www.politico.com/news/2019/1...-resign-089647

[A former Democratic governor of Hawaii on Monday called on presidential hopeful Tulsi Gabbard to immediately resign from her seat in Congress so the state can hold a special election to replace her.

Neil Abercrombie, who led the state from 2010 to 2014, personally phoned Gabbard, who isn’t seeking reelection, before he went public with his call for her resignation at a news conference in Hawaii.

Story Continued Below

“I’ve left a detailed message for her as to what I was thinking, what I was doing and what I hoped she would do,” Abercrombie told POLITICO in a phone interview following his announcement. “I’m sure she pays attention to her voicemail.”]
