Mitt "middle class income is $200,000 - $250,000" Romney must have thought he is the senate.

single biggest loss in point value yes, but it's been going up for the past few years, and making record highs. it's also at it's highest ever, any loss would mean a higher point value loss.
the % loss aint record, it's just the numerical point.
it's like losing your entire savings (100%) when youre 9 years old (like 10 bux or some shit), vs losing 1% of your savings when you're 40 (say 1000 bux). yeah no shit 1000 is more than 10 bux. but 10 bux was 100% of your money.

Dr. Pence is on the job folks, so we're all good.
This man's presidency is an utter embarrassment, as are his supporters. I feel like I'm watching The Onion news on a daily basis here.

It might be senile Biden vs. senile Trump. Why the hell in a country of 300 million, can they not have 2 ... just 2 presidential candidates that embodies prudence, courage, truth, and justice?

Because that’s not what America embodies.
It’s classism, racism, violence, money and the never ending pursuit of showing your neighbour that you are better than them.
These men embody the American dream. Rich, white and powerful.
It’s what at least 51% of the country believe in.
It’s so weird how a country of so many great individuals can somehow end up making a system that is such a cesspool.

America needs an actual party on the left. The Democrats are just Republicans who allow abortion.

Very disappointed today. I really do think Bernie is done here.
Yes I know there's more states to vote, but let's be real here, the DNC has done their damage, Biden will be the nominee.
I've always said this, the DNC are paid to lose, and the system is a joke.
Mark my words, if Biden is chosen (and it appears he will be) Trump will win reelection, and I really do wonder if the DNC even care to win at this point. It almost seems as though it's easier for them to have Trump enact the oligarch's wishes and stay in power, while they sit on the sideline "pretending" to be against his policies, taking the moral high ground without having to actually do anything about it.
Completely agree with Skinny, the country needs another party, but it will never happen.
I sometimes worry that Canada will eventually go in the same direction (we're pretty much there already), with effectively two parties (Liberal and Conservative) being the only viable options.
Very disappointing.

The DNC cares about winning, they don't care about reform. They want the same things the republicans want, they just want to be the ones doing it. They don't want a president who is going to come in and change a bunch of stuff from the status quo.
And we all know what a Biden nomination means - another Trump term.
The backlash will be even stronger then. Perhaps going into revolution territory. Hopefully people get their shit together and put together a real party on the left that actually wants to change from the status quo.
As we become less and less reliant on mainstream media that has been shitting on everyone other than Biden the entire time, the support will grow. As older, more ignorant people die out, the support will grow. I am hopeful that positive change will happen. Not this term though, not the way things are going.

Lol if you think a Bernie nomination = a Bernie win, thats almost as far fetched as a Biden win.
Trump is going to crush either of them.

I actually think Bernie is the only one that's capable of dealing with Trump's ad hominem name calling attacks.

Trump is going to crush either of them. | No way, Bernie has the support in the right places.
The reason why Biden (or really almost anyone else) is an auto loss is because the Bernie people will become disenfranchised and the exact same thing will happen as last time.
It's as much about people wanting actual change and not voting for the status quo as it is about Biden being an awful candidate.

I definitely think Bernie has a much better chance beating Trump then a senile old man in Joe Biden.
What I found really concerning was the lowered youth vote numbers. That's one thing Bernie has said would be his base, at least for this sessions of primaries, they didn't show up.
I don't like to sound like an old man, but man the younger generation really disappoint me sometimes in their feckless lack of action and involvement. So much internet chatter and posturing, but never any actual action in terms of showing up.
Happens far too often in elections, I don't know why any candidate bothers to count on their votes. Quote:

Bernie appeals to a niche demographic
Trump has soooo many supporters who don’t give a fuck about these speeches and debates and will just vote for him regardless. People who are essentially in the weeds until voting rolls around. Hilary had the female vote and the Clinton name, I think she probably had a far better chance at defeating trump than Bernie does currently.
Trump has momentum, plain and simple.

Trump will get the same amount of votes no matter who he's up against.
The question is, which opponent will get enough support to outnumber those in the key ridings?
The answer, IMO, is not fucking Biden.
