The guy has said a hundred things on the virus. He has taken every stance imaginable. If it didn't turn out that bad he would have said "I told you it was a hoax". He has literally covered every position so he has a sound but for every situation.

Everyone I know that lives in shit countries is on their own when it's all fucked like this... people here be whining like "I can't pay my rent and eat out every day can Trudeau hurry and send me money?" but people in all these other places are like fuck I can't work and there's no money from no government and I can't eat and I'm going to be homeless in 2 weeks and I have no medicare... like... if the virus doesn't kill me, destitution will.

I certainly thought of the "cops giving out too many VI's" thread when I saw cops here beating the living shit out of protesters and press, and even random citizens. Before the courts closed due to the virus, almost every case that came through had to be rescheduled, because defendants are constantly too injured to appear.
I think Canadians are the most spoiled people on earth. That's part of why I post shit here so much. I hope I've opened some eyes. It was certainly hard convincing people that the virus was a serious issue for other people, and now they are getting a taste of it. Just a small taste, because they are in a fucking awesome country that will take care of them.
Mostly I just want people to be aware of their privilege while considering things, and certainly before speaking up on matters.

That's a great ad, simple, nothing hyperbolic, straight to the point. Damaging.
It's a great attack ad, but do you think Biden would have done better? Or will do better?
I personally think Biden would have been worse at dealing with this, or at least be worse at being able to communicate to the American people. Trump is a great talker, Biden is not.

I can't even make it more than 2 minutes into anything he speaks at! He never says anything, it's a complete word salad every time! Trump is a performer, so if we're talking about who's a better performer between the two, Trump clearly. He's a game show host ffs.
Biden would never be my first pick as president out of the options available, not a chance, as I'm concerned with his age and mental capacity.
My agreement with the ad had nothing to do with Biden, but the substance of the ad itself. It's effective, and it's true.
11 states still don't have stay at home orders. This is only going to make this last much longer. Some states are going to have outbreaks weeks if not months after others. Also, states are fighting over the same supplies driving up prices.
Is so sad coz if it is Bernie he will most likely win the president race. Looks like it will be trump 2 term.....
Sanders would never have won the presidential race even if he were the chosen Democratic candidate. He is far too much of a socialist for the capitalistic America.
^polling often suggested otherwise. if the other candidates actually endorsed the guy after they dropped out then i think he would have been a shoe in. trump will lose some support over his handling of covid. he keeps moving the goal posts and now 200k deaths is considered a success, when just a few weeks ago he was already projecting business to return back to normal by easter. the downplaying of the severity of the situation will probably cost the US tens of thousands of lives.
