America is doomed and I'm not even talking about Coronavirus

Whoever Biden announces as the running mate will be the president by the end of 2021

!LittleDragon 04-08-2020 05:29 PM

Trump's going to win again. People forgot there was even an election coming up. I completely forgot about it til I saw Biden on the news for the first time in weeks.

Trumps press conferences the last 2 days would have been laugh out loud funny if they were a SNL skit.... but.... sadly for everyone they were real press conferences by a real person who is really president :(

I’m still trying to figure out hours later what it even means to “close up a State and start over”...

11 people in Brazil on chloroquine trials die. But I thought that TV doctor said it worked 100% of the time. I really wonder who trump bought 30 million doses of chloroquine from. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a big campaign donation from them.

https://nationalpost.com/news/world/...1-patients-die

Quote:

A possible treatment for COVID-19, heavily touted by U.S. President Donald Trump in recent weeks, has been withdrawn from high-dose use in a Brazilian trial because it was feared to be having adverse effects on patients’ hearts.
Chloroquine, normally a drug used to treat malaria, has inspired hope in some medical circles amid reports that it can help to offset the symptoms of the deadly virus. But the New York Times reports that a recent clinical trial saw patients develop irregular heartbeats, a number of whom developed heart arrhythmias and later died.
The similar drugs chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine have been pushed by Trump as a possible partial solution to the pandemic in the U.S., where they are sold under brand names like Nivaquine and Plaquenil. The Times reports that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has granted emergency approval for the use of both drugs at U.S. hospitals, and U.S. companies have begun producing them in greater numbers. Trump has been vociferous on the drugs’ potential benefits, but among those to contradict his views are his own top expert Anthony Fauci, who has provided regular updates to Americans on the crisis. During one recent daily White House coronavirus briefing, Trump stepped in and prevented Fauci from answering a question about hydroxychloroquine.

It's so fascinating once you start to dig behind the curtain of some of these companies and contracts.

The founder of Panthera Enterprices is Thomas Kaplan.

https://theintercept.com/2019/11/27/...an/?comments=1

He is a staunch conservative hawk, and has close ties with you guessed it, Mohammed bin Salman, and Erik Prince.

There are rumblings that both Trump and Kushner are partners within this shell company LLC.

Given the ties of this little known company, I would wager this is true.

Drain the swamp eh? It's unbelievable how much corruption is happening here, and this is just a $55 million contract, I can't imagine what other unscrupulous contracts are being awarded to other Trump cronies.

I'm blown away that these stories aren't getting more traction.

The level of corruption in this administration is something we've never seen out in the open to this degree.

With 368 patients, the study is the largest look so far of hydroxychloroquine with or without the antibiotic azithromycin for Covid-19.

A panel of experts convened by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases recommends against doctors using a combination of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin for the treatment of COVID-19 patients because of potential toxicities.

"The combination of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin was associated with QTc prolongation in patients with COVID-19," the panel said.

QTc prolongation increases the risk of sudden cardiac death.

Not sure what's funnier, the guy incorrectly spelling "Guinea Pig" or the other guy trying to make fun of the first guy while also mis-spelling Guinea Pig.

just anecdotes but lots of families getting paid more with the expanded unemployment securities than their usual paycheques

think about child care costs that get cut with one parent at home too

there's still going to be a large number that fall through the cracks, but these programs will imo secure trump's 2nd term as if it isn't already secured

The media, the neolibs, and the #metoo movement keep ignoring and attempting to discredit Tara Reade and her accusations against Biden. If this latest video is credible, Biden is done. Too late for Bernie or someone else to step up in his place?

This is the worst time to get into that fallacy

This is a serious allegation, and the dems are trying to pretend it didn't happen

This is really, really bad if you want Trump to lose the election

ALL sexual assault allegations should be taken seriously.

No I agree here.

The difference with Trump is that we know he's a womanizing sexual abuser, it's well documented, and I don't even think Trump tries to pretend he's not.

With Biden, he carries this clean image, he wants to you know he's wholesome and trustworthy, two very different images these two guys put forward.

If there's any validity to this claim, it doesn't look good for Biden.

While I agree that Trump has done far worse things to women (literally the same thing in fact), but the Dems are supposed to be "self righteous" in regards to woman's rights. Trump has never ran on that type of agenda.

You can't have this type of skeleton in your closet, then run on women's rights. This doesn't look good for Biden if it's true.

I have to say though, I am getting tired of these types of scandals, whether on the left or right here. We all know as men we've likely done something at least once that might have been somewhat offside, something when looking back, you'd never do again.

It's become so easy to ruin someone in the public eye with one mere accusation from decades ago (not speaking about Biden on this one, just in general).

I often wonder what types of people will end up wanting to run in politics if this continues to become an effective method of attack here, I know I sure as hell wouldn't :lol
