Yes, the point.

Mail that's already in the system in the back of rental vans? You think that's done by a lazy teenager employee?

StylinRed 09-08-2020 11:28 AM

Postal managers, who need their depot to meet quotas, or to get rid of undelivered mail, or disgruntled employees, it seems more likely than what's implied (trump)

Similar issues have happened before with usps (falsifying deliveries to meet quotas)
https://www.ktvu.com/news/some-posta...tes-claims.amp

Also, looks like this mail was incoming bulk business mail (flyers, samples, etc)

https://www.cnn.com/2020/09/08/us/us...rnd/index.html

Quote:

US Postal Service employees weren't involved in the dumping of bags, Omar Gonzalez, the Western Regional Coordinator for the American Postal Workers Union, told CNN.

Gonzalez said the person seen on surveillance video tossing the bags of mail out of a Budget rental truck was a contractor and after watching the surveillance tape, Gonzalez said the bags appeared to be bulk shipment mail.

For companies that ship in bulk, Gonzalez said they are given plastic bags bearing a USPS logo to bring to the bulk shipping department at the dock.

It was unclear if the bags were being delivered to or departing from the Glendale post office but if it was incoming mail, the bags are supposed to be placed into USPS trucks and taken to a processing center, Gonzalez said.

"If it's outgoing, we don't know how it got into the Budget truck," Gonzalez said.

Gonzalez said the Postal Inspectors Office and local police are both investigating. CNN requests for comment from Glendale Police and the USPS have not been returned.

U.S. drops tariffs on Canadian aluminum, avoiding retaliation

OTTAWA -- The United States is lifting its 10 per cent tariff on Canadian aluminum, retroactive to Sept. 1, backing down from the trade dispute just hours before Canadian retaliatory measures were to be announced.

This major move was announced by U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer. In a statement, the top American trade official cited “consultations” with Canadian officials and an expectation that trading of aluminum is likely to balance out in the months ahead, as why the Americans decided to withdraw what Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has called “unjust” tariffs.

So Trump did an in-person interview with ABC 20/20 today where he took questions from supposedly undecided voters... as expected he totally bombed pretty much everything, constantly lied and never actually answered any questions.... kept talking in circle about police getting power back (when did they lose them?) and cities burning (they're not) and how great his virus response was (it wasn't) and spouting totally made up "statistics"... but one thing that had me laughing my ass off is when he said that "the Democrats" and then specifically Joe Biden never initiated a national mask policy... LOL... maybe cuz hes not the president?!?!?! What a fucking loser hahaha

Also loved how the 1 guy they introduced as a former Trump voter, he was like BAM fighter pilot eyes on the guy and super extra nice to him and engaged him totally differently than every other person... or when he was confronted about never actually producing a health care plan, like a little kid on he playground who doesn't want to be left out "Oh I have one... I have it... you just haven't seen it yet... "

These stories leaking out seem to be getting worse and worse here.

https://www.theguardian.com/commenti...genics-history

The US has had a long history of practicing eugenics to its black and brown communities, read about Puerto Rico for example below:

https://www.panoramas.pitt.edu/healt...n-latina-women

This latest news of forced hysterectomies in an ICE detention center is merely further confirmation of this. This is an unbelievable story, and a sickening one. We're now back to full on eugenics and sterilization of human beings.

It's become cliche to compare this presidency to Nazi Germany, but as more of these stories continue to come out, the juxtaposition of the two are becoming more and more apparent.

I become more and more sickened with the US as the days go by here.

^ Will Trump try to appoint a replacement before elections so he can tip the scale even further?

SkinnyPupp 09-18-2020 04:13 PM

Fuck

Great68 09-18-2020 04:41 PM

Wow. Another lifetime conservative judge on the bench, pretty much a guarantee that social progress in the USA is going to start going backwards for a long time.

Definitely, and the Dems cant stop it like the republicans did to Obama.. Yikes

Manic! 09-18-2020 05:40 PM

I don't think think they will be able to approve a judge before the the next election.

whitev70r 09-18-2020 05:43 PM

I don't think there is enough time ... they usually go through a circus show before. No way they can in less than 2 months.

68style 09-18-2020 07:58 PM

They'll make it happen, Mitch McConnell has been waiting his whole life for this opportunity

mikemhg 09-19-2020 10:20 AM

Mitch already put out a statement that they'll move to appoint a new judge.

That guy is such a slithering scumbag. Obama couldn't appoint a judge a year ahead of the election, based on the guise of "it's an election year", yet Moscow Mitch will try to appoint a judge 8 weeks before the election?

The utter depravity of these people never ceases to amaze me. I guarantee you if they try to appoint another conservative judge before the election, people will be in the streets for sure.

What's worrying is what happens when Trump contests the election results (which we know he will), and it's kicked up to the Supreme Court to decide? That's a 5-3 vote in his favor right there.

You will literally watch the entire collapse of democracy right before your eyes in that country.

Like it or not, Trump and the senate will get the new SCOTUS justice before the election.

They have all they need. And don’t kid yourself. If the Dems had majority in senate, they’d have named a new justice.

If you only had one shot or one opportunity to seize everything you ever wanted in one moment, would you capture it or just let it slip?

^ give one of us a sniper rifle, let’s find out how Stan any of us are hahaha

Hehe 09-19-2020 01:49 PM

The ironic part is that in order for any new nominee to go through before the election, the senate has to invoke the so called nuclear option, which only requires 51votes to pass.

And when/who invoked the nuclear option for the first? You guessed it, the dems. The first president to support the nuclear option? Obama.
