It doesn’t matter what you think jabronis..... just vote

68style 09-27-2020 03:37 PM

Tax returns are floating around, NYTimes early report does not look good for Trumpy

Didn't pay any tax whatsoever in 11 out of the last 18 years! Incredible! ALmost $400 million in debts coming due by 2022 as well... he's fucked! lol... can't try to steal his family's inheritence this time!

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/...ump-taxes.html

SkinnyPupp 09-27-2020 04:37 PM

Trump claims $750 in income for a year... Not $750,000.... $750! LUL

Imagine voting in a president who is that broke (thus making him even more beholden to "special interests")? Or if not that broke, that big of a tax cheat? This is why they always release their tax returns until Trump came around.

He is SO FUCKED once he's out of office.

Democrat or Republican, everyone needs to work together to get rid of this clown. If you're a Republican and refuse to vote Biden, just don't vote, or enter the name of any Republican other than Trump. There are many idiots who will still support him, but he got in because of millions of "undecided" centrists who thought Hilary would be even worse... Now they know they were wrong. I wouldn't have ever voted for him, but I had the feeling Hilary would have been worse. Little did I know FailFish

!LittleDragon 09-27-2020 07:09 PM

Here's how he's going to get out of it... three words... "It's fake news"

StylinRed 09-27-2020 07:12 PM

Eh I still think Hillary would be worse, the US would probably be in another war with her in place (and that automatically means worse Imo)

LOL!!!

68style 09-27-2020 09:10 PM

I love how he’s still clinging to the “You’ll see them when I’m not being audited” thing hahah he exactly has the mind of a small child all his arguments and constructs are the same as a spoiled little kid, keep telling the same lie or excuse over and over because he’s too dumb to think of anything else and too stubborn to admit he’s wrong

Bahaha... Amazon is a trillion dollar company and paid ZERO taxes.

Don't blame the player, blame the game.

It's not just Trump, anyone in the upper echelon, all the billionaires, most politicians... etc... they all do that. Hell... many of my family do that through their corporate structures and they are nowhere near the billionaire rank.

If you are so naive that Biden and co don't employ similar taxation strategies and are basing your support on this, you are in fantasyland. Why don't the Dems attack this to death and bring up bills in the Congress (which they control) to address this? Because they are ALL FUCKING IN IT.

You think it's unfair and they are cheating the system... I'd tell you what... ANYONE CAN DO IT!

Just get up and go find a competent accountant who is well oiled in his/her craft and he can do it for you.

Whether your finances justify the cost, that's another topic.

68style 09-27-2020 09:35 PM

I don't think past USA presidents have been anywhere near as unscrupulous with their finances or been so incredibly leveraged (and therefore vulnerable to attack by foreign interests) as this one.

Again, it's the system, not the person.

If your job asks you for your tax fillings in order to give you jobs, what would you say? You think it's fair? Nop... the law doesn't require it, so fuck no.

Well.. same thing. If there was a law that for any president to take office, he/she needs to provide tax fillings details, then, he's doing wrong. Until then, what's the problem?

You want to talk about unfair, immoral... etc. go dig what Kamala Harris did in order to get where she is today. While at it, also check what bill Biden penned and supported throughout his 180yrs career, then get back to me on the morality of things.

Everyone has their dirt... if you are going to look at one, it's only fair to look at the other.

Yah let’s compare them. Go ahead.

You do Trump’s list, I’ll do the other 2... something tells me you’ll still be writing after 2 weeks and I’ll be done in 20 minutes hahaha

Seriously that's the defense? Blame the game? WE FUCKING ARE BLAMING THE GAME. THIS IS A BIG FUCKING PROBLEM. WHY DO YOU THINK ACTUAL PEOPLE WHO WANT ACTUAL CHANGE ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS SHIT.

:rukidding:

"Don't hate the player, hate the game" is literally the worst response anyone could have to anything. It's actually meant to be sardonic/sarcastic. Pimp and gangsta rap lingo, as in their world is so fucked up and beyond repair, it doesn't matter so they are going to take advantage of it and rub your face in it.

And we actually have a person using THAT line to defend DONALD TRUMP evading taxes

And people clicked the THANK button on that post

My mind hasn't been blown on revscene for a while, but this did it. My mind is blown. I literally made this expression :fulloffuck: I don't even know how to react so I just have to rant in this post.

So yes, "the game" as in "billionaires who can hide money and leech from society rather than contributing to it, and then getting bailouts when shit hits the fan while everyone else goes broke and homeless" really fucking sucks. WE HATE THE GAME. WE HATE THE PLAYERS TOO

my god

That's glossing over just a few facts and reasons why those things happen... doesn't make them right, but that was far from the only / primary goal.

This President can literally be bought by other countries at this point with an estimated $300 milllion+ in loans coming due the next 1.5 years and no positive income from his businesses anymore? Shit... nothing ever been seen like that before. No way.

:rukidding:

So the best idea you came up with was to elect someone who has been long in the game? :fuckthatshit:

Biden has been in politics forever. He is in it using the same strategy.

You guys are picking on Trump because you just want someone to blame for all the misery and injustice going on in the last year or so.

Changing to the Dems won't make ANY difference. If you believed otherwise, again, you are either too naive or in fantasyland.

My suggestion? Actually look at what they are proposing and analyze it from an objective perspective.

What does Biden have in store for us? Subsidies to the poor and taxation to the riches and corps.

hahahahaha... I'm sorry... I grew up in Argentina... you know what happened there with that formula? Economy disasters after disasters. Why? Because riches all left for Europe, US... etc. All the people that are left? They work as hard as they can... to save in USD, no Pesos.. so they can one day flee too.

And what you get when a country has more people depending on subsidies and no riches to tax from? A shithole.

Why would anyone work when you make 500USD a month by working your ass off and if you don't, and fell within the line of "poverty", the gov't pays you 400? Those subsidies effectively become incentive to go poor. And if you try to run a business, you have to provide proof of fund, taxation on everything you do, and constantly harrased by gov't officials looking for "coffee money". All the tax deincentivize to do business.

And what happens when you run out of millionaires to tax from? Well, you go after those who have half a mil... a tenth of a mil... until there's no one else to tax from and declare default on your debts.

Change the system? Actually find one that works first.

No, the best idea isn't Biden, he is part of the system, or "the game" as you put it. Democrats are almost just as conservative of the Republicans. Actual liberal minded people don't want them in power either. It's part of why Trump won. They didn't want Hilary or Trump, but nobody knew just how bad Trump would be.

The whole system is broken. It's not as broken as Argentina or some other countries (MANY other countries) but it needs to be fixed. Biden isn't going to do it. But right now the bar is at the point where "anyone but Trump" will be a HUGE improvement.

As for finding systems that work, there are some systems that work, with varying levels of socialism. There are peaceful places where people don't have to go broke to go to school, or go broke when they get sick. Are they perfect? Probably not, humans aren't perfect.

So basically, it could be worse, it could be better. Trump wasn't better than Hilary, but Biden is almost 100% sure to be better than Trump. But "the game" is flawed and needs change. It won't happen this time around unfortunately.
