Speaking of VP's, I'll be much more interested to see the next debate. Not often people get to hear Pence speak. He's like Trumps polar opposite. Measured, calm, factual. Biden did much better than i thought he would. Mind you the bar was set quite low. |

He never will denounce white supremacists, because they are the majority (remainder?) of his voting base Still blows my mind we have pro Trump people here. Not putting anyone down, but it's amazing to me. |

Maybe your mind is too easily blown. |

This is the reason threads like this and others on RS never go anywhere, why the world (not just America) is getting more polarized, and why people simply get more entrenched on their positions. Left and right alike. |
That was a very interesting doc, and definitely gave me more empathy to the other side. It doesn’t mean I don’t still believe in a lot of cases they are 100% wrong, but it’s easier to see how they got there. |

2. Pro Trump? You can search my history and see I've supported Tulsi and Bernie and ranked my choices as: 1. Tulsi 2.Bernie 3. Yang The best long game strategy for progressives could actually be to see another 4 years of Trump. Maybe that will finally force the establishment Dems to the will of the people and actually adopt progressive programs in order to win back the presidency. For progressives to vote for Biden, is just giving the Dems 4 more years to ignore them. Why do what progressives want when they already have their vote? So while I am not pro Trump, if 4 years of Trump finally gets the Dems to rid themselves of establishment politics, I am all for it. |
So tell me, am I the only one who doesn't use Facebook? Never believed in it and saw it as evil since day one. I've watched cooworkers, friends, and even family, get destroyed by it. I keep being told by others to join. Almost like it's a requirement to survive the 21st century. In fact, in one of my recent jobs, it was required. I refused. Why would I put myself out there? uh................... oh..................... ummmmmm............ does Revscene count? Hee hee. |

Do you use google? Your searches form the algorithms which customize your feeds ... yes, RS counts. Do you see ads on banners that interest you? |
I stay away from politics on Facebook it’s so toxic, but it’s a great place nowadays for car groups and car information... forums are kind of dead and there’s a big Facebook group for every type of car that have taken over in that regard... so as much as I hate Facebook I use it quite a bit for car groups and ignore my newsfeed. |
If the fucking Democrats had gotten Somone even REMOTELY competent this wouldn’t even be a discussion. The election would be over Yet you elect sleepy fucking joe who even by the left leaning ABC analysts, can barely string together a sentence. Jesus Christ Between these two, and Covid this may truly be the last great hurrah for the states. All the politicians in Washington etc. We’re obviously only concerned with their own problems and how it would effect their pocket books rather than rejuvenating a floundering nation |
For the debate, I don't know if there is another one scheduled, but there is an easy solution, give the moderator 2 mute buttons, one for each of the candidates in order to control them. Mute them when they talk out of turn or over the other. |

Lol, I don't really post much on facebook but I use it to keep in touch with some of my friends we're all in our 40's. I'm not active on the other ones though, Instagram, Tik Tok or snapchat. |

This thread is about Trump though. When it comes to him, there is a clear right and wrong "side" to be on. Edit: I do agree that the polarization of the US is a problem. But when you look at what's going on elsewhere (look at China for instance) maybe realize "it could be worse". Or maybe moving forward in our disaster of a future, that is the best solution? |

^ just look at those clowns. Trump scraping the bottom of the barrel for any vote. It’s sad. Literally. |
