This isn’t a novel scheme but the same COVID-era con stripped of its cough. Tariffs are now the rallying cry of the billionaire cabal, the corporate bankers who’ve long bled the middle and lower classes dry. With figures like Elon now masquerading as part of the government machine, and Carney’s cozy ties to the likes of Trump through his banker friends, we’re looking at a full-blown corporate takeover of North America.
This isn’t just about a rotten “Orange Man”; it’s the age-old class war rebranded, distracting us from real corruption, runaway spending, and the absence of genuine opposition. Wake the fuck up.
Here's your opposition bro, here's your bro fighting for the little guy in the USA:
Controlled. Opposition. Who the fuck is going to get behind a bunch of anti-God tranny lovers to fight Trump?
Like I said in my last post on this thread, if you think that your country, and your life is controlled by the billionaires and the government, there is always one alternative.
Live off the grid. Be a hermit. Can you be self sufficient without the use of government currency, and no credit cards? No healthcare from the government.
No cars, no buying food from the supermarkets of billionaires. Try growing your own food.
Let's see how a long a person will survive living off the grid without a care about politics. Focus on trying to be self sufficient.
The big question is would any person want to detach himself/herself from society and live as a hermit? How long would you survive on your own?
You have the freedom to do so, right?

So basically, accept that a slave class exists in the west or fuck off?
Remember, our parents could afford a home on a single person's wage as the mother stayed home to raise kids.
Ask yourself... what changed?

you keep reposting the same copypasta ad nauseum over every thread on this board with no call to action. What do you want us sheeple to do?
OH PLEASE TELL US WHAT THE FUCK TO DO!
Well, a lesson for you, if you didn't know, politics is downstream from culture, and culture is downstream from art.
You posting the "think of the children" meme when trying to mock my high IQ statements seems to show that you're already slave-minded and have been culturally engineered to view slavery as a good thing and billionaires as your friends. Chances are, all of the art you consume is totally corporate, and the culture you participate in has been astroturfed and built for your mindset.
Remember, out politicians are unabashed liars and their statements mean nothing because they will say anything to align themselves with the people who have all of the power:
You're a good worker, you don't rock the boat, you watch local_sports_team and you vote red or blue.
The first thing you could do is start by acknowledging that you live in a captured nation, where everything is fake and gay, and from that point on, evaluate how you spend your money and what artists get your support. Ever heard of ESG scores? Why do corporations pink-wash everything?
Probably many of the people here are too far gone at this point, you have a mortgage, steady job, decently comfortable place in society and, while you see all of the wokeness, insane cost of living, and ridiculous political options, rocking the boat would get much, much too uncomfortable for you. Why not just make fun of the non-corporate dude who points out that the emperor has no clothes instead?

I don't care
I don't care about Zionists
I don't care about Palestinians
I don't care about vaccines
I don't care about transgenders
I don't care about any of this culture war bullshit
If you're not telling us to do something then you're just preaching NPCs who don't give a fuck. So what's the point? Just please make it stop. Make it stop.
In that case, would shorting Tesla stocks be considered a form of domestic economic terrorism as well? and thus it is punishable by law?
What a retard...

The silver lining -- at least on the TSLA situation -- is, TSLA has lost more than 50% of its value today in comparison to its 52-week high, and the stock price is expected to continue to drop. At some point, it'd only make sense if the shareholders begin to demand answers from Elon and/or the Board. Or as Westopher has suggested, banks begin to demand repayments from Elon / Tesla on its loans.
I wonder how soon that'd happen though...

lol. So much hate in this thread. I thought lefties are the side of love and compassion.
It’s not that we don’t care about anything, but rather about what priority to care.
The libs don’t give a rat ass about we, the people. The care about narratives.
I care about Zionists
I care about Palestinians
I care about vaccines
I care about transgenders

That’s you lefties very argument on why you are the “good guys”.
But what about our children, our people, our society, and our country?
Our own people are starving, becoming homeless, dying and yet somehow Ukraine, Palestinians, lgbtqs are more important and worth spending hundreds of billions of dollars on.
Libs could care less about Caucasians and yet that’s 70% of Canadians. If you guys don’t see the hypocrisy, I really don’t know what to say.
But let me ask you something, if you would have to choose between helping a kid on the street vs. feeding your own child, what would you choose?

Oh yeah why would America give that money to help when they could just help their own people? Why didn't I think of that! All this money will surely go to helping American citizens! I see so many Americans being helped by this organization so far by having programs cut and jobs cut.

Who told you you could paraphrase me without citation?
So your reasoning is that Trump is doing all this just to help out his own fellow Americans? I don't know what to tell you but if you believe that you have your head so far up your ass you must be burping farts.
Due to him and his family's wealth, Hehe is probably part of the group that benefits from Trump's actions.

Honest question, what's a "leftist" or a "lib"?
Is it just some generic name you use for anyone who doesn't agree with your views?
Or is it much more nuanced than that. Can you please be specific?

The political spectrum can be viewed with two intersecting scales: one for economic/fiscal policies and
one for social/personal policies. The underlying question is: To what degree should the government
intervene or exert control in these two spheres.
Liberal/Left-leaning people embrace social services and government intervention in the economy.
Conservative/Right-leaning people support lower taxes, free markets and less government intervention
in the economy.
Libertarians advocate both personal and economic liberty (freedom).
Authoritarians favour strict obedience to authority and government control, at the expense of personal
and economic freedom.
Other related terms associated with the two scales include: fiscally conservative, fiscally moderate or
liberal, socially conservative and socially liberal or moderate. Some people argue that it is possible to be
conservative for one scale, and liberal or moderate on the other. While others argue that it is not
possible since they are inherently linked.
Related to fiscal/economic issues, Canadians who are left-leaning most often believe that: Liberals
The government can play a positive role in managing the economy and creating jobs, as opposed to
simply letting the private sector be responsible for creating jobs.
A large gap between the richest and poorest parts of society should be avoided as much as possible.
Wealthier individuals and corporations should pay a greater share of taxes than poorer individuals.
There is good value in government services, such as education and healthcare, and higher taxes and
government debt may be necessary to ensure these services are sufficient.
Policies that might be considered bad for businesses but are intended to alleviate social or
environmental problems, like climate change, are important for the greater good.
While Canadians who are right-leaning on fiscal/economic issues most often believe that:
Businesses and individuals should receive as much support as possible in order to create jobs, wealth
and innovation.
Inequality is not a concern. People who are financially successful are being rewarded for their
contributions to society.
Smaller government is the best approach, which means less government influence on the economy and
fewer government services.
Taxes should be as low as possible and the government should avoid going into debt.
Regulation on businesses is not necessary because the free market provides sufficient incentives for
businesses to pursue important social and environmental outcomes.
On social/personal issues like abortion, same-sex marriage or gun control, social liberals or left-leaning
Canadians are most likely to support progressive policies, which advocate improvement of society by
reform.
Social conservatives do not support reform on social/ personal issues. They most often believe that
society is fragile and must maintained through duty, traditional values and established institutions
