Yeah the days where the last 1st round pick to play for us was Cory Schneider.
Basically there was a void of good upcoming prospects since 2004 all the way to 2013? Bo's year.

Holland got a 2 year extension in Apr 2018 ... but still, anything can happen. Might be good to change things up, what was once referred to as the 'Detroit' model is now an easy 2 points night for the other team.

-Should the Sharks sign Karlsson to a contract extension, Ottawa receives San Jose's second-round selection in 2021, which would upgrade to a first-round selection (not lottery protected) if San Jose reaches the Stanley Cup Final in 2019.
