Between '11-'12 and '13-'14, he scored 119 points in 203 games (48.1 points/82 games). 21-24 years old, just entering what should've been his prime. Then his play fell off a cliff, this obviously explains at least a large portion of why (still many rumours about his off-ice behaviour and attitude).
For comparison, Bo Horvat is going into his 24-year-old season this year and, thus far, he has 105 points in 156 games (55.2 points/82), so Cody at the same ages wasn't really that far off (this assumes Bo doesn't have a substantially better season than his past two, which he may very well).
Obviously difficult to predict a sudden onset of muscle degeneration due to a rare disease.
I read this article a few weeks back but got so busy forgot to post it until now. I actually feel more bad than hating on COHO. From the time he turned pro he was getting jerked left and right. Such a promising career ahead of him possibly getting wrong advice on his back injury and then playing time and then to have a rare genetic disorder to top it off. Cant feel anything but sorry for him
I saw a comment on twitter, yeah genetic disorder called his dad. Lol
Me: Hodgson had some genetic changes disorder, that "affects his muscular system and seems to be triggered by prolonged exercise."
My buddy: Lol that's what I have then
