He's so young and fragile.......... Reminds me of Gretzky. Not playing style, but stature. They better protect the boy.

Canuck Luck...........

Can you imagine this Pettersson kid playing on a real team?

Pettersson makes a really nice pass to a teammate and teammate misses the net............. completely. Like shooting for China and hitting Africa.

haven't seen the backhand yet

will they compare that to Sid's or Patrick Kane's?

the gretzky comparison is a bit of a stretch imo... even though it looks identical lol

Not going to lie, when the Canucks pick came up, I was hoping for Glass or Mittelstadt. They seemed like sure bets, and I had no idea who Pettersson was.

For all of GMJB bonehead free agent signings, he sure can draft.

I was expecting Middlestat at the time
guess it worked out

ISS ranked EP40 at 20th
Central Scouting had EP40 at top5 for european scouting

That Miro Heiskanen kid is ripping it up with Dallas too, I believe he was no1 euro prospect

I could be wrong.. this is all top of my head

You can thank Thomas Gradin, cause he's the one that pushed hard for Pettersson.

I think the Canucks fans are too used to bad drafting by the team. Grabner was an out of nowhere pick. Same with Patrick White.

That and wasn’t it because we were trading burrows for dahlen and they saw how ep40 played?

I found this 2017 mock draft from Sportsnet that quite accurately predicted the Top 10:

The Vancouver Canucks have sent Brock Boeser back to Vancouver to see a specialist, the team confirmed Thursday.

Boeser missed Tuesday's contest against the Detroit Red Wings - the first leg of his team's current six-game road trip - with a groin injury.

The 21-year-old will miss Thursday's matchup with the Boston Bruins, but the Canucks haven't ruled out the possibility of Boeser re-joining at some point during their current road swing, which won't conclude until next Thursday.

"He's gotten better, but he isn't over the hump yet," head coach Travis Green said.

Boeser had begun to turn things around after a slow start to the season, notching two goals and four points against the Colorado Avalanche on Friday.

I was expecting a bit more from the big guy. He sang in tune, but meh. I thought maybe he'd step it up a notch during the star mangled banner, but nope.

Not inspiring at all.

Fucking hell? It was 1-1 at the beginning of the second period. It's now 6-4 for the Canucks near the end of that period. Nuts.

Halak and Rask......... geez.
