Charelli should have been fired last summer.
but at the end of the day, Oilers mismanagement of assets began before his time.
Literally the second thing he did as GM (after hiring McLellan) was fire several scouts including the head pro scout and head amateur scout prior to the 2015 draft, proceed to trade 6 of his 12 draft picks (including the 1st that NYI used on Barzal) for Reinhart, Talbot, and Gryba.
To this day, Edmonton has 2 pro scouts and no head of pro scouting. 2!
So, yes, they were mismanaged prior to him, but he took it to another level.
Kind of off topic. I wanted to buy canucks tickets
Lowerbowl and price is cheaper then most.
Too good to be true? How can i spot a fake. Thanks
Unfortunately, you can't spot a scammer until you get to the gate and they scan you in.
Season ticket holders can give you their tickets, and then call their ticket rep and have them cancelled and re-issued. I think the best thing to try and prevent any sort of scamming would be to meet them at their place of work/home and then ask to see some ID. Some will say no, but from what my friends have encountered, most will have no problem doing it to prove they have nothing to hide.

Wow thanks
Yah a friend of a friend bought tickets from.a season ticket holder. I guess that's what the seller did.
But by the seller canceling the ticket. How does it benefit them?

He can get the ticket re-issued and either go to the game themselves or sell it again to another poor chap.
I've been scammed before a long time ago, I asked for her ID but she made up some excuse about rushing out the door and she skytrained so no ID. She was a milfy friendly young lady too so I didn't think much of it. Until I was all geared up and ready to watch the game then getting denied at the gate when the scan doesn't go through, that feeling sucks major ballsack...
Now when I buy second hand tickets I ALWAYS ask for photo ID and matching name on a credit card. I will even take a photo of it. 99% of the time the seller is ok with it, if they are worried I would offer for them to see mine. If they don't want to then just walk away, it's not worth risking losing hundreds of dollars and wasted night out.

It goes both ways. I used to have season tickets and when selling them, would either meet them at their place of work or at some place public.
I would count the money carefully and make sure there weren't any fake bills.
It's just a matter of how much time and due dilligence you put in. But definitely meet in a public place and bring a friend if you are carrying a few hundred.

I think it's absolutely terrific that the Canucks have had a different All Star rep for the past 3 years. 17 it was Horvat, 18 Boeser and now 2019 Pettersson. It would be great if next year can be Quinn Hughes. Shows this team is getting younger and better.
