Anyone know where i can find a replacement VW sportwagen mirror ? https://s22.postimg.cc/rbaclgdup/IMG_5729.jpg https://s22.postimg.cc/6r5imzdj5/IMG_5730.jpg Some fucking asshole parked next to me and took out my mirror. Of course no note, and i wasnt able to catch the plate on dashcam (not hardwired in for parking mode :yuno:) I called VW and they want 120 bucks for this mirror. Anyone ever replaced just the mirror part and not the entire assembly? I was able to put the mirror back in and it still functions (tilts, lange change warning light still works, etc). MK7 Golf? Time to upgrade to euro-spec mirrors The one thing missing on my Golf that I loved on my SAAB was the wide angle bit on the passenger wing mirror. Really helps with blind spots. The tiny mirrors on the Golf don't help and stick on convex mirrors take up too much space. |
I'm going to check out some wreckers around Vancouver. Cheapest online I can find is 34 bucks USD. Maybe I'll just buy it from there. eBay seems okay too but sells in pairs. |
You can order one through an auto glass shop for pretty cheap. |
I get all my VW parts from VM Autohaus in Burnaby. Prices are pretty reasonable. |
