| Anywhere to get radiator parts?
OK, let me start this off by saying I'm an idiot. :P
Now that that's off my chest, I was replacing my radiator this week and managed to strip the thread of the transmission fluid line going into my radiator by trying to re-use the old parts from my previous radiator.
Here's a stock pic of what I'm talking about :
From looking at this, it looks like there's a removable piece in between the radiator and the transmission fluid line - that's the part that's stripped. However, on any parts diagram I can see online, the transmission line and radiator are all one piece. Trying to see if there's an option to fix this before I go out and buy another radiator...
BTW, this is for a 05 Acura TSX.

You need to get that fitting out, then figure out what kind of fitting it is. Looks like it uses a sealing washer into the radiator, then most likely a tapered pipe thread on the other fitting. You won’t know until you take them out.

Just to keep downtime to a minimum since this is my only car, what places would stock this type of fitting?

Green Line Hose on venebles will have most fittings. If it ends up being a British thread you’ll be hooped as no one will stock it and will be required to order in.

If you still have your old radiator, why don’t you just figure out that thread that is, then simply get a barbed fitting for that hole? You’d be set and no downtime.

The old radiator's fitting is a slightly different threading to this one. It's how I stripped the thread on the new radiator. I thought the new radiator was missing a part (one of the transmission line "tubes" you see in the picture), so I reused the one from the old one.
I'll pop it out one more time and see if I can borrow a car to get something that fits the thread from Green Line.

Well, it looks like I'm going to have to replace the radiator.
I tried taking off that piece between the radiator and the transmission line and it was just a nut holding the threaded line against the radiator. It's part of a larger piece inside the radiator so the stripped threaded piece isn't removable.
