Mouth/Saliva Tastes Like Bubble Gum Been going on for past 2 days and I am quite certain I am not sick (not that I am aware) I don't chew gum, but my saliva/mouth has this gum after taste and I don't know what is causing it. Anyone have similar experience or able to chime in? I've brushed my tongue and mouth wash etc and it's just there lingering... |
never trust an online forum or google as your sole source of info for anything medical, but a quick used of google-fu drew up a couple options. though your best course of action is to consult your doctor if you're concerned. the first two things i came across were diabetes and sinus infection. though i also saw mentioned it could be bacteria in your mouth (though brushing and mouthwash would reduce the likelihood of this one) or Gastroesophageal reflux disease |
You might have teeth cavity somewhere you just don't see it. |
Floss - brush teeth - and then get some watered down hydrogen peroxide - 3%. Few bucks at any pharma. The peroxide tastes like ass, but after 5 minutes, you shouldn't be able to taste anything in your mouth. If you do taste something, go to dentist ASAP. |
