Mouth/Saliva Tastes Like Bubble Gum

Been going on for past 2 days and I am quite certain I am not sick (not that I am aware)

I don't chew gum, but my saliva/mouth has this gum after taste and I don't know what is causing it.

Anyone have similar experience or able to chime in?

I've brushed my tongue and mouth wash etc and it's just there lingering...

never trust an online forum or google as your sole source of info for anything medical, but a quick used of google-fu drew up a couple options. though your best course of action is to consult your doctor if you're concerned.

the first two things i came across were diabetes and sinus infection.
though i also saw mentioned it could be bacteria in your mouth (though brushing and mouthwash would reduce the likelihood of this one) or Gastroesophageal reflux disease

Floss - brush teeth - and then get some watered down hydrogen peroxide - 3%. Few bucks at any pharma.

The peroxide tastes like ass, but after 5 minutes, you shouldn't be able to taste anything in your mouth. If you do taste something, go to dentist ASAP.
